A bit of a rant against the way the world is / is going - very right wing with human nature's good side struggling to maintain some semblance of compassion.

This World

A song about power and money, contrasting those who have it with those that don't in a metaphorical city. The weather in the song is also kind of metaphorical in that the "city" is on the edge waiting for the storm to break / for the whole social and political structure to collapse into chaos.

Summer In The City

Animals in cages - why do we do it. We create enough cages for ourselves without doing the same to animals.

Monkeys

This was for David Cameron and his government, a song about Scottish Independence, written just before the 2014 Independence referendum.

Another rant, this time about the media, money men , politicians and the cult of celebrity.

The meaning of this song is in the title, pure and simple.

One Life

Doghaus were  a 3-piece roots / rock / blues band with original songs by Graham Bell. The album Ruff Justice was put together retrospectively after the band folded at the end of 2018 with most of the tracks being reworked or re-recorded from scratch by Graham. The band has since reformed with Graham and the original bass player, Andy Bawden, although no drummer this time round. Instead Graham created custom drum tracks for eacho riginal song as well as the covers. Now back performing i and around Inverness and having a ball! Never too old to rock and roll.
