Considering the enemies of this game and the 10th anniversary stream are based on fandom related misconceptions, it makes me believe this is meant to represent people who are very much obsessed with the old Toby Fox before UNDERTALE released. (i.e fans of EBHH and Toby's Homestuck works) I could be very wrong here but I think thats the fun part

does frisk slowly get sick and weaker and ends up dying a few floors later after the encounter
