Fruit Dog is Nickan Shabdar, Shayan Raisi, Norman Chen-Liaw, Kamran Walsh, Dhilip Raman, and others when they're free.  Formed out of the messy breakup of a band that was formed out of a messy breakup, Fruit Dog was formed originally as a solo project by Shabdar. He produced the Cycling Kurds EP but also quickly began work on an upcoming album and brought his friends on board to help out. Solo projects are scary. That album was also soon scrapped for one written more as a band which is currently in the works?...!

Shabdar combines his backgrounds in music to produce his music just like every other musician ever. It'd be kinda weird not to. In his case this is classical training in piano and violin, experience in string quartet arrangements, a crappy middle school band, a better college band, and a lifetime love of music. Shabdar also loves writing about himself in the third person and is a total sucker for strings. Thanks for reading! Also shout out to my sibling they're the best and anything posted on here was probably first listened to by them at least 4 times.
