According to dictionary the word 'Perron' means an exterior set of steps and a platform at the main entrance to a large building such as a church or mansion. Dogus Cihan took this idea and transformed it into an emotional intro track with an evolving arrangement and a pure storyline.
Keepitpure Artists such as Mert Eser and Yaman S created their own story with driving beats and arpeggios. As a growing family Cuneyt Cilingiroglu contributes this single with his remix for the first time and climbing those steps with his eclectic and organic sounds.

Songs for My Grandmother Remixes is the latest in the ever-evolving musical adventures of Tuğçe Kurtiş. Produced in partnership with Tuğçe’s long time collaborator Santi (Santiago Ferreira), who is known for his novel arrangements of Balkan & Anatolian music  as well as rewriting Paraguayan folklore. With this new compilation, Tuğçe Kurtiş presents another take on her grandmother’s favorite songs through contributions by a wonderfully eclectic team of producers. The remix album begins with Acid Pauli’s enticingly atmospheric rendition of “Yıldızların Altında” (Underneath the Stars), followed by San Miguel’s characteristically heartful and soothing version. Álvaro Suárez then takes Yıldızların Altında decisively deep into the dancefloor with his sensual and hypnotic style, while Anatolian Sessions brings it home with the luring sounds of flute and kaval. The next track is the only remix of “Gözleri Aşka Gülen” (The One Whose Eyes Smile at Love) on the album where Alizarina fully embraces the song’s joyful spirit and creates moments of magic through his sublime clarinet lines. Then comes Rodrigo Gallardo who skillfully transports the Turkish vintage “Sevdan Olmasa” (Without Your Love) into the Andes through his folkloric flute and ritualistic vibe. Spy from Cairo presents yet another enchanting, idiosyncratically “Arabadub” rendition of this track with his delightful strings, deep baseline, and lush percussion. The album ends lavishly with an irresistibly groovy version of “Sevdan Olmasa” by Drumspyder who intricately weaves together hand percussion and electronic sounds into the finely sculpted grooves of the original track.

TAŞ AVLU is about love that seems impossible but not in the sense that it is hopeless; rather it is full of spirit and promise that is transcending time and space. The poems begin in a house with stone yard in Diyarbakır, stretches back to the 20th century Andalusia bonding with 13th century Anatolian mysticism desiring to unveil the heart. In this endless journey love is a relay game in which words are spoken to break the reign of diachronic acquiescence.

A graffiti artist who grew up on funk, soul, drum’n’bass and breakbeat, Dogus Cihan turned onto electronic music in late 1990s. An Istanbul-based DJ and producer, he started his DJing career in 2000 playing at various venues and events, (Soho, Taps, Maksim,New Yorker etc.) mostly focused on electronica. His interest in house music started to grow in 2003, when he became a resident at Anjelique and Wan-na, the most prominent nightclubs in Istanbul. The year after, as he took over the sole residency, his sets progressed towards deep, tech and progressive house filled with emotional structure. More recently, he was behind the Sounds of Anjelique projects, compiling and mixing six volumes of compilation albums that recall the excitement and high energy of his sets.
As a producer, his carefully chosen sounds drive towards slowly evolving arrangements with a sense of dark melodies and chords supported by heavy basslines. Mostly influenced by his brother, Doruk Cihan, Bob James, Arthur Baker, Nick Warren, Jimpster and Gui Boratto, the deep and powerful story in his tracks unfolds with driving beats and rich melodies.
With a diverse taste in music, his unique sets have not only changed the sound in the venues he plays at, but also placed him among the very few who succeed in transforming the music scene in Istanbul. Having shared decks with Nick Warren, Satoshi Tomiie, Dave Seamen, Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo, François K, Danny Howells, Behrouz, Sharam and Andy Caldwell among others, Dogus Cihan still holds his residency at Anjelique while he’s working on his productions and playing on FG Radio every Wednesday between 22.00 - 23.00 (GMT+3)
Dogus Cihan stands out with his musical knowledge as he studied music in Istanbul Bilgi University and still running his label "keepitpure music" with Mert Eser.
