Welcome to the second episode of Hakk i Plata

This episode is focusing on a genre that was, in its early days, an avant garde sound, but also came as a further development from all the minimal techno, glitch and house that flourished in Berlin and other cities containing well-known electronica environments, in the late 90's. This genre got the name, Micro house, which has short samples of many different instruments and vocals as its main characteristics, as well as smooth and simple loops that can go on and on; actually some micro house tracks last for 15-20 minutes with not much happening. 
It's hard to not come around the one and only Jan Jelinek, when one should talk about pioneers within this genre. And I'm proud to admit that he is taking a larger amount of tracks in this mix, which felt natural for me when the sound he created really defined what micro house was and still is (in my opinion).

I hope you will enjoy this mix and sit down to fall into the memory lane of historical electronica music. This is really a distinct and beautiful sound that should fit perfectly with the late autumn and coming winter.

Ps! Sorry for the noise distortion on the right side. I´ll fix this later and replace it.

Bagsol - Buscador (Nantiel Remix) [Future Avenue]

Hi there! 
As a newcomer to Ableton, I’ve created a track using only its stock library—no external plugins, effects, or additional tools at this stage.

This playful and creative exercise focused on crafting a groove using drums and percussions. 
The arrangement is as simple as it gets.

The track consists of 28 tracks (clips), including 24 MIDI tracks featuring kick, bass, toms, hats, claps, rims, bongos, congas, woodblocks, and a triangle sound. 
The remaining audio tracks include vinyl dust, a background pad, a “pop” noise, and a snare—all of which I cut and shaped to add some flavor to this raw, organic groove.

Lastly, I’d like to share a quote to inspire anyone creating out there: “Complete the project so you can take the risk of sharing it. The risk is the price of creation.” — Rick Rubin.

Unveiling the mask, expression of true self and allowing the creative feminine to shine, are just some of the terms that come to mind when looking at this beautiful stage “The Swamp” @ MoDem Festival. 

The journey to Europe was centred around a booking to play at this world renowned festival and it was a pure joy to share the stage with some of my Italian techno gangster idols like, Ness, Feral, Luigi Tozzi, Antonio Ruscito & Knobs. 

The europeans sure do love their techno & this was the 2 hour journey I created for a day time stomp on the swamp. A very special experience that will be cherished.

DOJAS stands for grooves that come in all shades of House: Minimal House, Deep Tech, Tech House, Rominimal. He first performed in Berlin at Farbfernseher in 2015. The formation of the B2B Society collective led to performances in Paris and his hometown of Berlin, and in 2016 and 2019 he returned to France to play at the Château Perché Festival. He refined his sound with a residency at Chalet in 2018 and has made stops at various Berlin clubs including KaterBlau, Sisyphos, GoldenGate and Renate in recent years.
