We welcome you to Dojo Music, DJ & Producer Oliver Lang’s brand new label, launched in March 2010! Dojo features some of the hottest up & coming, and also a selection of established tech house talents to be found in the wondrous world of house music.

Where it all began

DOJO is the brainchild of Bora Bora resident and production talent Oliver Lang. Conceived after a mad night out at the legendary DC10 it was originally planned to be an outlet for his own A-list supported material. However word has spread and the label has gathered serious momentum attracting interest from several up and coming producers and has evolved into a platform for showcasing new talent from across the globe. 
With Oliver set for another season as resident at the world famous Bora Bora, two new residencies for super-clubs Matter & Gatecrasher plus a string of championed releases for labels such as Toolroom, Blackhole, Spinnin and most notably his remix of the seminal anthem Mystery land by Y-Traxx for Nebula, Oliver and Dojo are set to be a potent mix.


The Philosophy 

Dojo aims to represent good quality house music ranging from big room anthems through to tech house and techno - anything that generates THAT moment on the dancefloor where everyone goes absolutely nuts and cant stop smiling.

Oliver explains, “There is so much amazing music out there and a lot of these tracks never see the light of day. I realised I could be pushing this music and giving it the profile and exposure it deserves; it is no real phenomenon, I just want the label to be held in high regard in ten years time just as any of the greats of yesteryear are……I want people to click on every release and know it is a winner.”

He also tells us, “I intend to keep the spectrum relatively wide. There is no point in closing doors by pigeon-holing at this stage, but I do want each release to be given the full attention it’s worthy of. In my experience there is no better advert than a party and Dojo is not going to be shy on that front! I’m making space in my own diary to host quarterly Dojo parties with Dojo artists being at the forefront – by showcasing the talent that the Dojo portfolio is carrying we will increase our brand awareness, give our DJs an opportunity to spread their wings away from the confines of promoters’ requests and most importantly show clubbers a good time underpinned by nothing less then GOOD SOLID house music!” 

And what better way to introduce the world to Dojo then via the 4000 strong Bora Bora crowd of savvy hardcore party-goers Oliver plays to daily in Ibiza?! Combine this with his own heavy worldwide DJ-ing schedule and Dojo will be taken all over the globe. “Why stop at the obvious…I want the whole world to hear the talent that I am privileged to be exposed to – it’s what Dojo is all about!”
