Up first is 'Xure', an arp-driven slab of mind-tickling electronics that slowly builds its way to a sterling peak-time climax, after which the distorted 'Xero' highlights the dirtier and grittier side of things with a raw LFO-esque synth meandering through a sonic groove. Closing track 'Xite' captures the spiraling vibes of off-beat techno across hypnotic percussion bits and glistening sounds in the background, leaving very little to wish for. 
On the remix tip, one of techno's men-of-the-moment Tripeo (aka Darko Esser) delivers a beefy rework of 'Xure'. Tying an arped synth to a potent groove, this little monster will definitely do the business in the clubs...

A concept EP based on Figures translated to sequences. Opening track Figure 8 leaves no doubt about what this EP is all about: sweat on the dancefloor. On a foundation of distorted kicks and percussion an almost alien-esque, out of sync synth pattern emerges and evolves & moves on slithering paths throughout the tune. Figure 4 explores more dubby and spaced out areas on a slow, but solid drumtrack. 
On the flip things open, even warm up thanks to an acidic bassline and dreamy pads. A beautiful contrast with the pounding groove that accompanies it. Titletrack Figures is a disturbing drone and an ambigious ending to an EP where Doka showcases his enormous and evolving talent. There’s more where that came from.. Stay tuned.

A raw melodic track, stripped down with pounding percussions while an unrefined static dances above the beat. Barcelona-based NX1, manipulate the rhythm of the synth into an elegant hypnotic drive. Alternatively, the Madrileños, Aiken, hailing from Non-Series and Semantica, gives the track a whole new flavor as a throbbing bass sends vibrations through your body while agitated chords flutter throughout the piece. All three tracks, intense and pulsating, prove to be powerful tools that can easily be thrown in to climax any set.
