This mini album is one of the most personally important things that I ever created. It was originally developed as an av piece for the 2020 Avantwhatever festival which was held online (for obvious reasons). The music which resulted from this process is a very intimate document of my media consumption habits and general state of mind during Melbourne's endless lockdowns. What I especially love about these pieces is that they are not about my experiences of covid, but rather, they are of them... a document whose construction was undertaken during the time it portrays in a very naively unself-conscious way.

After making a completed album playlist for blurstNRG it occurred to me that I should make use of the fact that I've decided to take out a pro subscription (wisely, or otherwise) by posting full versions of my albums here. Although i am going to serialise the uploads a track at a time not to inundate people's feeds.

In any case, I always regretted not uploading every track from ultimate cringe compilation because this album was such a milestone for me creatively. And, in many ways, it's a pre-cursor to blurstNRG which would never have came to be had I not done this first.
