For this new episode of Dolce Vita with Lav on 1020 Radio, we were joined by Giulia Spadafora, owner and Director of Soul Media, the photography and video company that has been capturing some of our and your most magical club/rave/festival moments since 2013.
We chatted about how Soul Media started and how Giulia herself started in the industry, the challenges of running an indie business, especially as a female in the industry but also her favourite moments and biggest highlights to date. She also shared some important tips, for those who wish to start their career in photography and for all young entrepreneurs. 
She also played some over her favourite tunes, which she described as 'a bit of everything I like'. Being in music venues the majority of her time, Giulia's music taste is broad, educated but also FUN.

EP009 Dolce Vita With Lav on 1020 Radio (12.07.21)

Established in June 2019, Dolce Vita is a LGBTQ+ friendly night, born to introduce new talents to the Bristolian electronic music scene and supporting local artists. Our nights promote chill and relaxed vibes and ensure the creation of an inclusive and safe space for everyone involved, especially the for women and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
In January 2019, a new sister night called ‘Nera’ was born as part of Dolce Vita. 
‘Nera’ is a dark celebration of melodic techno and house music, taking place in the quirkiest venues of Bristol. This event was born to give space to local upcoming talents and to be a safe space for self-expression, freedom and uniqueness.
