Artists across the world all seem to retire to their quarters each day ready to recharge for the next. Or at least the ones with real tenacity do and the rest who complain about getting up too early in the morning, get forgotten sooner than later. In the case of Dolo Fibonacci, his sheer will has pushed him to where he is now and will continue to move him up the ranks. A great artist is disciplined to continue the mission when the lights aren’t bright yet. Dolo knows this and has aimed to craft his sound after some of the greats.
As a kid Fibonacci developed his sound from Southern giants before him. From the real cornerstones of Rap like 8Ball & MJG, UGK, Outkast, and Jay-Z. To the more contemporary legends like Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, T.I., and Curren$y. Aside from crafting his skill set with these artists in mind, Dolo took advice from his own name and went to work on his own.
Countless nights alone with his thoughts and dreams pushed Dolo to figure it out. From his first time touching a mic at 21 to these sets of sounds, he’s been dropping since 2018. Each project possesses a Southern flare that many try to recreate, but can never duplicate. G-Sides, Rilos N Creamer, and Sugar In The Raw were great beginnings to the story.
Then Dolo met LaMarcus J and the RBG Media group. This only elevated him and increased the focus on all sides and allowed him to connect with other creatives. Since then it’s been a full-on attack to become one of not only the South’s brightest rising stars but be a legend in the game when it’s all said and done. From the roads of Forestdale, Green Acres, and all of the Westside of Birmingham, Dolo Fibonacci is going to be a name you won’t soon forget.
