Winter Time

Figub on tape! That's what I want you to know about my upcoming "Kaseta De Ouf". The album will be available both physically and digitally, but the two versions are slightly different, so the real diggers should definitely get the tape as well. To explain: In August I released a mix with the title "Beattape mixed by Beatpete" on Soundcloud. This mix will be completely available on the tape and drops on December 6th. On January 3rd a completely new Figub Brazlevic album with 24 tracks will be released. These are revised versions of the songs from the tape, but also completely new tracks, so that the digital version stands out from the original Beattape and represents an independent release but with the same name. The preorder starts for both versions on November 22nd and from then on every two weeks new digital singles for the album will be released until the digital version is available everywhere on January 3rd. So you can look forward to two full-length Figub Brazlevic releases in the next two months!

Once upon a time in a sleepy town where the clouds whispered secrets, a peculiar figure emerged from the fog—dolor. With a name inspired by an ancient forgotten language that literally translates to "mild discomfort," dolor found beauty in the bizarre and the awkward.

Born during a thunderstorm that sounded suspiciously like a cat meowing, Dolor grew up in a home filled with creaky floorboards and half-baked ideas. As a child, dolor communicated with plants, convinced that their beloved fern, Gerald, had profound wisdom to share. While other kids were busy building treehouses, dolor crafted elaborate soundscapes using nothing but a tin can, a rubber band, and the occasional toaster.

As a teenager, dolor discovered the magic of lo-fi music while rummaging through his parents’ old cassette tapes. He stumbled upon a mixtape labeled “Muffins and Moods,” which featured ambient sounds of butter being spread and distant laughter. Inspired, dolor set up a makeshift studio in a closet filled with old costumes and a mysterious collection of rubber ducks.

Armed with an array of instruments—an out-of-tune ukulele, a kazoo, and an army of handmade shakers—dolor began to record tracks that blurred the line between soothing and surreal.

With all that being said, we now have dolor.
