A relative newcomer to the scene, Keistep stole the show on our recent Dolphin Friendly Tunage: Artist Series compilation, so it was only fitting that we ask him back to deliver a full EP. It's certainly safe to say that he did not let us down. The Wimbledon EP packs in 3 original productions from the young Greek, alongside a remix from label boss Chunk.

After his excellent remix of Bosco's 'Like That' on our most recent compilation, Mark returns to Dolphin Friendly Tunage with his debut EP release. Comprised of 3 powerful house cuts with strong garage and 90s influences running throughout. Each track holds it's own and is appropriate to a different mood or different set, although each track has Mark's signature at the forefront. 

Rather than describing the music with words, we will allow the music to speak for itself here.

With ADE coming up and plenty of Autumn/Winter festivals on the cards, what better time to release a few tracks we had been holding back, on a VA compilation. 10 quality house tracks and a DJ mix, all showcasing what we do as a label with tracks from label favourites and new names alike. 

Kicking things off we have DFT firm favourite Keistep with 'Lying' , a bumpy house track with plenty of attitude and an all important stab. Label boss Chunk delivers 'Surface Noise' , a track heavily influenced by old school house and garage. Icon's first release on the label is pure jacking acid vibes with 'Anything Goes'.
             Irish producer Jamie O'Reilly (All Over It / Maintain Replay) continues his roll of stellar productions with 'Cotten'. Next up we have UK producer and New Politics Records favourite Syr, with his eagerly anticipated tech banger 'Baby Mama'.                     
 Leicester based wunderkind, Jake Twell (Fracture / DBE) does the business with his twisted analog feeling monster 'Basement Loop System'. Returning to DFT for his second outing, Scotty Does Know serves up incredibly catchy house goodness with 'Say We Did'. Italian house master Simon Emme's 'Lucid Dream' is equal parts bouncy and jacking. Last but not least Milbarno's Conscience rounds the release off on a deeper but driving note.

Ketami - Unicorn (Original Mix)

Our next release comes from up and coming young German producer Interstate, with his debut release Grey Matter. Although he is only 17 years old, his sound is far more mature, heavily inspired by sounds from the golden age of house music. Title track 'Grey Matter' is a deep, sub laden and atmospheric affair which works a hypnotic vocal and mellow synths over a pounding kick and rolling high hats.
       'Gangsta Groove' features skippy garage influenced beats are heavily influenced by the Utrecht sound. The track features a very well known voice and sporadic break beats with an old school sounding break down and speed garage style synths. 'Dark Side Of The Moon' sounds like something from the 90s NY house scene, and would sound perfectly at home on the Strictly Rhythm label. The building and whirling synths are grounded nicely by the thumping kick drum and driving percussion. On the remix side we have a really tight and deep interpretation of the title track from DFT favourite Keistep. Last but not least and also reworking the title track, Sebastard's remix is a much techier affair than the original, a perfect label debut from the prolific producer.

Andrew Betley & Marcus Zuercher - Keep On (Original Mix) [Free Download]

Celebrating our 3rd birthday with this fantastic release from fast rising producer Andrew Betley. The Dublin producer teams up with Marcus Zuercher for 2 of the 3 tracks on this release, including the title track. 'Use & Abuse' is built around a hypnotic driving bassline which pushes the track forward, while vocal chops and synth swirls build energy. You can't help but nod your head to this peak time weapon. Next up is 'Dyde Floor' the second collaboration between Andrew and Marcus is slightly more stripped back than the title track. This is a melodic and uplifting tech house cut, designed for earlier in the night, a true groover. Last but not least, 'Ladies & Gentlemen' is the one track on the EP produced solo by Andrew Betley. Combining super slick synth stabs with uber catchy vocals and funky driving basslines is sort of the theme of this EP, and this number certainly stays true to that. As the bassline slams back in after the break, you cant help but smile and nod your head. This one will do the business on dancefloors this summer for sure.

Leicester native and DBE resident badman Jake Twell returns to Dolphin Friendly Tunage to deliver a terrific 3 track EP, just in time for the summer. First up is the aptly named 'Chord Machine', which features a hypnotic bubbling lead synth built on top of a frenzy of swirling synths, driving chords and groovy drums. This one is a perfect for the main rooms and is sure to do the business this summer. Next up we have 'Everybody Gets' which is on a deeper tip altogether, the vocals in this swirl and build alongside trippy synths. With an incredibly catchy lead synth line, this one would be right at home in a Bicep set. Last but not least 'Purple Bells' is a jacking slice of house with amazingly tight and crisp drum programming, strong heavy pads and a wicked lead which hints to the title.
