Penumbra Phantasm

Recently I've thought about the concept of different versions of a song (like a megalo), and how they tend to be treated as full on replacements rather than extensions of the original (at least that's how I often did it). I suppose it makes sense if the original was made during times when the artist didn't really know what they doing and wanted to make something definitively better. 

Nowadays I think the way I view my "v1's" and "v2's" is more so through a lens of each new version being part of a growing family of songs rather than trying to one-up the previous, even if the older versions are "bad" or are perceived as "bad" by me. I think it's nice like that.
