Hailing from Yorkshire, Dom Scanlon has taken the House & Bass scene by storm over the last few years with his frequencies comprising of thumping bassline and jackin beats.

Music was his education from a young age and the early influences play an important role within both his live sets and productions today. Drawn to the effervescent energy, monster basslines and euphoric vocals that jackin house and electro are known for, Dom quickly developed these key elements, enhanced them and defined his groove.
Known for his conductorship, Dom Scanlon orchestrates any given crowd, often to euphoric levels. Thumping bassline riffs act as the heartbeat of his sound with rolling and powerful vocal sequence loops and strong synth patterns creating melodies full of funk and soul.

Performance-wise, Dom Scanlon has frequented many a lineup as he has travelled to each corner of the UK to showcase his unmistakable vibe. The much-loved Mission (Leeds) and Manchester underground institution Joshua Brooks top his impressive CV whilst supporting the likes of Insomnia, Tom Zanetti, Sweet Female Attitude and Chris Gresswell.

Firmly on the production trail, a string of high calibre releases have landed following a lot of late-night studio sessions. Ever-developing the technical side of production, Dom brings many jackin house and bassline sounds back to life as he adds punch and vibrancy to the groove. ‘Only You’ on the YosH imprint reached the Beatport number 3 position within the genre and was supported by the global superstar EZ and world-renowned Wideboys. Following this success, the releases came thick and fast. Most notably, ‘Watch Out’ on 3000 Bass, and ‘Misfits’ featuring Danbo on Koda Bass.
On the remixing duty side, Dom was named the official ‘remixer’ for SOSH and Charlotte Devaney and their hit single ‘Girls’.

2021 looks set to be a career-defining year as the schedule shows no sign of slowing down with the already-hyped forthcoming release ‘Be Real’ dropping on YosH on May 21st, plus a host of imminent cuts ready to hit the streets throughout the summer, including upcoming single ‘Fly Away’, a collaboration with international superstar REDD.
