The domain Cylinder were formed in February 2010.
The two collaborators are known as ‘Operator DS’ based in Budapest and ‘Operator VW’ based in Bilbao.
The initial concept was something along the lines of the surrealist game Exquisite corpse a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled.
In the case of the domain Cylinder : found sounds, live recordings, wax cylinders, text to voice software and manipulated beats are collected, arranged and archived.
This is the domain of the domain Cylinder.
