Diversity.  This one word sums up Dom Capello’s outlook on musical expression.  “I feel that people shouldn’t be narrow minded sticking to one specific type of music, they should broaden their horizons and approach everything that is offered to them”.   This one word also describes his style while producing and also playing live.  Being taught the drums by his father starting at the age of 4, music has been an integral part of his life. He has gone on to teach himself the piano, play in bands and then eventually evolve to create full productions in the studio.   Producing under several different monikers, Dom Capello has created music ranging from Radio hits and Billboard topping commercial vocal mixes, to underground progressive, tribal, minimal and electro.

Who is the man behind the scenes you ask?? Producing under Low End Specialists and 45hz (a collaboration project with Mac from L.E.S), his productions were played by the likes of John Digweed, Sander Kleinenberg and on labels such as Magnetik, Little Mountain Recordings, SAW, Toolroom, Cr2 and Bedrock records.  Moving into the vocal and circuit realm, using his high energy style, he has produced records under “DJ Escape and Dom Capello”.  Creating anthems for Beyonce, Lindsay Lohan, Hillary Duff, Kim English, Luz Divina, Ohsha Kai, Claudja Barry, Perry Twins, Supernova, Lauren Hildebrandt and other world renowned artists, these tracks moved up the Billboard charts and were instantly recognized by DJ’s throughout the world.  Countless other commercial anthems, radio and club hits as well as tribal and underground records were also created by him producing under “Dom Capello” for US artists such as Angelo Venuto, Angelica DeNo, Sharon T, Zelma Davis, as well as famed international vocalists such as Dawn Tallman. His latest release on Catch 22 Records can be heard on Roger Sanchez’s Release Yourself 9 Album.

His musical talent also carries onto the dance floor while playing live.  Having has residencies at the biggest clubs in NYC, his crowd pleasing skills are second to none. “DJing for 8000 people for 10 hours teaches you something…how to give people what they want.  You learn how to read them and play so many different styles of in a form that pleases and educates everyone equally.  Every crowd is different so you might hear me playing tribal one night, electro another and vocal mixes then next, you never know what you are going to get...” says Capello.    Bringing his unique style to every mega club in NYC,  Dom Capello has been pleasing crowds for over 10 years in huge clubs such as EXIT, Roxy NYC, Sound Factory (now Pacha NYC), Limelight (now Avalon NYC), Tunnel, Webster Hall, Spirit, Crobar (now Mansion).  Numerous appearances and residencies also have followed throughout the New York city area.  Blending his own style of live remixing, he has been able to give crowds experiences that are unique to only him only.  High energy track selection,  diverse style, live remixing combined with hypnotizing ear candy effects make every live experience memorable to every clubgoer. 
Currently, Dom Capello is into the studio working on more tracks to rock dancefloors in clubs from the far reaches of the Earth and back again.  Embarking on an International tour now allows him to bring his magic to faithful crowds and fans to all over the world...
