This isn't the first time I've tried to record this song. It's always like this – I look up to all those amazing divas (and friends who can sing so flawlessly???) and try to emulate them but obviously always fail. And this is where the love-hate relationship with my voice really amplifies. You may say, "oh but then don't sing that kind of big big song lah alamak be realistic" but man, how is my dream going to come true if I don't try? If this is the voice and sound that God has given me, I'm going to do the best I can with it.

So today I finally decided that I'm going to upload this – pitchiness, screechiness (I will take some pride in the fact that it used to be a lot worse), terrible riffs and all. Instead of a cover, this will be more of a milestone, so I can look back on it and see how far I've come musically and in terms of self confidence.

Apologies for some weird off-timing bits; garageband's Flex Time did something and I might have accidentally clicked stuff and I don't know how to fix it so I tried to make it as on-time as I possibly could
