My next guest on Yax Invites is Alberto Tolo, an Italian DJ and Producer from Padua.

Born in 1990, Alberto started making and playing his own music in the early 2000s and in 2006 he released his first EP and never stopped. In early 2010, Alberto released his first major EP on a very big label called SCI+ TEC which was followed by a second one a few years later.

After his experience on minimal techno, he decided to move into a more raw sound with the first release on Kaiserdisco's label KD RAW. This release changed his vision of music forever and kicked off his personal journey on hardgroove, inspired by tracks of which he listened to in his youth during the early 2000's releasing tracks on underground techno collectives such as Different Sounds, Reflekt and in his own signature ALT, and finally on the mighty BCCO.

Alberto never left the art of DJing and he continued to carry on both sides so it is a pleasure to have him on the series.

For our 10th podcast release, we welcome Tsukuyomi, the alias of Tbilisi-based DJ and producer Dadu Dzagnidze. Since starting his musical journey in 2020, Tsukuyomi has been shaping a distinctive sound—fast-paced, raw, and experimental—deeply influenced by his time spent on the dancefloor. The atmosphere of local clubs and the artistry of talented Georgian DJs played a key role in developing his approach to music.

His connection to sound runs deep, having explored various genres since childhood and even playing guitar for a time. However, it was in 2018, through a growing passion for techno, that his musical perspective truly evolved. Two years later, he started DJing and collecting records, and soon after, he delved into music production. Now, he is preparing to debut his first live set, alongside upcoming self-releases and future projects.

When it comes to inspiration, Yanamaste stands out as a major influence. Beyond music, he finds creativity in graphic design, anime, and camping, alongside quality time with friends. Lately, you’ll find him looping "The World In Devotion" by November Növelet, a track that resonates deeply with him.

As for clubs that left a mark, KHIDI and Bassiani are at the top of his list—spaces that have not only shaped his musical vision but continue to push the underground scene forward.

We’re excited to have him in the series—tune in and experience the sound of Tsukuyomi.

They are no stranger to the decks, starting early but more recently focusing their attention to the realm of techno. Their distinct sound really resonates with us and she caught our eye through their impressive stream for Mission London as well as that special Unfold set at new years. For the next episode of our podcast series, we welcome LO-2C, the DJ duo formed by loco.chanel and 2cozy in September 2023. Their shared love for music quickly turned into a powerful collaboration, blending fast-paced grooves, hypnotic tones, and bouncy basslines. In just a short time, they’ve played at Watergate, Tresor, and RSO, leaving their mark on the city’s club circuit.

Heavily influenced by hip-hop and rap, their sets are driven by deep basslines and a strong sense of rhythm. They value storytelling in music and always aim to create a journey with their selections. Their connection to music runs deep, with both having developed a strong appreciation for clean, narrative-driven sounds from a young age. This storytelling approach is something they seek to bring to every set. Currently, they also plan to start working on their own productions.

They also run their own event and label series, sense.affair, where they shape the scene on their own terms. Artists like Ben Klock have had a lasting impact on their sound, while their favorite track at the moment is "Nothing Lasts Forever" by Mefteh.

As for nightlife, their favorite club right now is Kreuzwerk, a fresh and underrated spot with an amazing sound system. That said, Berghain will always hold a special place in their hearts—it’s where their paths first crossed.

For LO-2C, the biggest challenge in today’s music industry is finding the balance between crafting a signature sound and navigating the many roles an artist has to take on—from DJ to manager, designer, promoter, and social media strategist. In a world where success is about more than just the music, they strive to master every aspect of the game.

With a love for storytelling through sound and a vision for the future, LO-2C is just getting started.
