“Lil17”  born Cedone Anyae Frazier on January 16, 2001 in Allentown, PA built his stardom in Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of 14.

With much time on his hands, having a way with computers and the musical influence from his younger years from listening to various artist and seeing his uncle work on music.

At the age of 9, passion became reality by experimenting with his first music software with a computer application he downloaded on his grandmother’s computer called Virtual DJ.

Visiting to and from his grandmothers house, every other weekend, in South Carolina to see his Father, he began to fall in love with music more and more. YouTube was an essential for him, day and night as he fell more involve with music. 

Traveling back and forth from his normal home life in the Charlotte city with his mother and brother to the down south slow paced living he had hours on hours to learn what effects did what and what sounds made what noise while knowing how to alter sounds and create new ones too. 

After junior high-school that would all change after truly getting an understanding of the music making process. Lil17 created his first track at the age of 14 and was inspired from his friends coming together, creatively , all having some a love for music. Each of them set out on their separate paths in music leaning on each other throughout their journeys to the top .

His first songs were recorded through the SoundCloud phone app on and older Android. He spoke into one phone like a microphone and played beats from another like a speaker; that was his first recording process.

Slowly but surely, he managed to find his sound piece by piece from song to song. He learned more efficient ways to create music on the computer after an old friend of his told him about a computer application called “Audacity”.

Remembering effects from his younger years of playing with (Virtual Dj), at his grandmothers,he began to learn the outskirts of what he knows today as engineering mixing & mastering. 

Over a short period of time, he began to progress by gaining traction through Social media platforms and his high school. 

Ultimately, this influenced more passion to keep going to now recieving such great stature and success through pursing music. There wasn’t a day out of the week he wasn’t behind a studio setup. 

From then on he built up a work ethic that, to this day, is still through the roof spending day after day devoting his life to his now ongoing career in music.
