Donnell Antonio Ballard Jr, more famously known as Dominic Kash DODR or Kash for short, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he relocated to Sanford, North Carolina when he was only 9. Here, he was first inspired to write poetry, and eventually to pursue a career in music after a close friend showed him the ropes. 
Kash is a genre-bending artist with a complex combination of lyrical hip-hop tracks and catchy song ballads. He has a unique style of creating what he calls “Feel Music”, which is music that speaks to people and elicits strong emotions. 
2021 marked a pivotal year for Kash, as he launched an independent artist platform, Santrap vs Everybody, to provide opportunities and management services to local artists. The following year, he released his first compilation mixtape “Welcome to the Trap”.  Kash is also 1/3 of the media group OnSight. 
In 2023, Kash released his highly anticipated EP, “27 After 2AM”, which showcases his signature blend of R&B and hip-hop and is centered around late night sexual interactions after dark. The EP dropped on February 14th 2023.
