I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity and support in putting on my senior concert at Bennington College. It was absolutely an unforgettable experience.

Goodbyes In The Dark
Also in Nick Brooke's Key To Songs class, I did an experimental vocal piece. The whole thing was improvisational and based on the idea of me trying to expand and use the strange parts of my voice that I don't usually allow myself to use. While most of it was nonsense vocables, in the final version of that piece there was a riff  saying "if you're gone another day... " that just stuck in my head. It stayed there for two weeks after the project was actually done so I finally gave in and wrote an actual song surrounding it and a few of the ideas. While the original piece was 6+ minutes, here is a link to the segment that inspired Goodbyes in The Dark.

Dominic Romano is a recording engineer, singer-songwriter, musician, and composer. Dominic has been involved in music since he was born, formally starting violin lessons when he was 5. At 13, he began focusing on voice and guitar. He enjoys performing and playing music as well as recording. In June 2015 Dominic graduated Bennington College with a B.A. in Recording Arts & Sound Design.
