The „Feel good“ principle
Dominic Rosales brought home the bacon. Whether as a producer or operator – his references from Time Warp via Nature One through to B2B sets with Ricardo Villalobos read like a book on techno history in fast motion. Yet now it is quite starting all over again, as Dominic is just reinventing himself. This happens according to his own words from time to time again periodically. And this is all to be happy and to have a good time. He by himself and above all the people, who listen to his music.
That it’s all about sonority, about sound, that he fulfils himself in that way exactly, was literally cradled by his family or school. His grandmother a pianist, his parents guitarists, he directly went to a private school with musical focus. Music instruments were inherent part of lessons from first grade on at this school, where Dominic was familiarized with the basics of musical theory as well.
Rapidly his compulsion grew to try out this thing with mixing up vinyl. Hardworkingly, he saved and saved money, until in 1998 the time had come and his first own turntables were bought. Until then, the equipment of friends and colleagues had to serve.
When someday all financial resources had been gone with vinyl, the thought of playing own music was not far away, as he had the appropriate musical background. In 2003 he entered a real studio for the first time. And afterwards it was again about saving and saving money… Until he finally could crawl away into his own studio to realize his full potential.
Besides his very first booking for Flashback at Index among others a longtime residency at Cologne’s old hippest Techno-location, Sensor Club, or bookings at Airport in Würzburg as well as Fusion Club in Münster rank among the following stations as a DJ. Also at legendary Definition of Techno and Streetparade in Zürich Dominic was a sight for sore eyes.
Whether behind the decks or in his productions, he does not want to and will not determine. Downbeat and full throttle, Techno, House and Minimal – his repertoire includes all this and even more. “I want the people to have fun and dance.”, Dominic says, as he by himself is always doing exactly what he is fancying and feeling good with. 
To ever reach his goal of making people happy, Dominic approaches each gig purely intuitive. While in the early days spontaneity has been quite limited, as one could weigh heavy two recordbags at a max, digital technique today enables nearly the complete repertoire anytime. Others create playlists or preselect the records, they want to play – Dominic reacts to the moment and the people, trying to feel what they want and need right now and collect them right there. With his versatility he surely is one step ahead of some others and of time.
Haste makes waste – 2013 in March Dominic’s debut release came out on Tonaroma, in Corporation with Schreisalz. 
In Oktober 2014 Dominic released his first solo production FRIENDS on DELIKT, his and his partner Courts label that they do together since 2013.
In April 2015 followed also on DELIKT, PASION.
Currently he is working on several new productions and remixes – you can be anxious to watch out for more things happening in 2016.
