One of the basic functions of electronic music is to create a stimulus and generate a response. Without this nothing makes sense. That’s why Joton in this new EP intends to use his characteristic techno sound to provoke in electronic music lovers a strong response, without half measures, without filters, without prefabricated tricks. «Stimulus and Response» is composed by 4 tracks that compose a journey that moves away from the linear path and proposes a constant roller coaster of emotions.   

«Moving Forward, Not Back» – Joton Ft. Zaid was created during one of Joton’s online production courses and is a clear example of the possibilities of collaborative work between teacher and student, achieving a perfect symbiosis and coordination.

«Angry Is Easier» is an example of forceful techno, hard, without concessions, that looks for the purity of the sound without half measures.  

«Iquique» was made during a group course in the city of Iquique in Chile, during Joton’s last tour in South America 2 months ago. A sample of the power of improvisation, of how in a matter of seconds you can compose a piece that gives off an unusual freshness.

«All That Glitters» stands out for its forcefulness, a strong proposal, a direct sound designed to blow up the danceflor. It is an off beat track, a perfect tool for the mix, with percussive elements that flow unbound through the stereo.

Dominika Karaszewska is a DJ, music producer, and event organizer based in Amsterdam. She always tries to implement mesmerizing characteristics during her sets and in her productions. She is the co-founder and resident at ARTDICTIVE, an event series, platform and DJ collective aimed at providing a stage to FLINTA artists. Dominika focuses on hypnotic, highly effective yet trippy sounds.
In this one hour podcast, she wanted to show her powerful, dark and groovy track selection, while trying to keep the set mesmerizing, and provide a deep and dreamy ending.

Born and raised in Austria, she has been passionate about music since she was young. Her love of music led her to play saxophone for over fourteen years in a local marching band, where she fine-tuned her skills and developed a deep appreciation for rhythm and melody.

In 2020, Violetta discovered a new way to express herself through music when she started DJing. From the moment she began, she knew that she had found her calling. 

Focusing on the harder and groovier styles of techno, Violetta quickly gained recognition in Vienna’s underground music scene for her electrifying sets and unique sound.

I'm happy to announce my latest upload! The recording was made at Different Spaces on April 29th, 2023 in my beloved Lehmann Club in Stuttgart. Since I got the Warm Up slot, I tried my best to take the dancers on a journey. I played some old tracks, but also a lot of new ones. Since we made a smooth transition at the end so as not to interrupt the vibe, the recording stops after 2 hours. Enjoy :)
