The latest addition to @Roam-Recordings features San Francisco veteran artist @ShinyObjects111 aka Chris Smith. A pillar in the Bay Area community Chris Smith is the founder of San Francisco’s Om Records, Smoke n' Mirrors, Up All Night, Monarch & The Great Northern. As a producer he has released over 100 tracks and remixes under the Shiny Objects moniker and other aliases. For his second release on Roam, Shiny Objects delivers two stunning original tracks. The title track Bad Acid is a gritty dark chugger with a post punk feel while Disco Death Child is a deep shimmering groover that’s nice and easy to get lost in.

Joining the EP is acclaimed Italian producer Rodion and Mexican producer @Inigovontier.

The latter providing a sterling remix of Disco Death Child which furthers his reputation as one of the key figures  defining the sound of Mexico’s bustling underground music scene.

Raised in Solingen, brothers Marius & Fabian found a mutual love for house and disco music from an early age. Through the realization that music connects them in a special way, they started putting on local parties and soon after delved into their own productions. The duo eventually received support from the Kittball Records family appearing on their Ibiza Global Radio show multiple times before signing to ZEHN Records. Their 'City of Belem' EP kick starts 2019 for the ZEHN Records imprint which is set to be yet another productive year for the label following releases from Modul Kollektiv, Los Cabra, Deniz Kabu & Wolfson and Daniel Rateuke.

The EP acts as a tribute to their South American trip a few years back and takes in an array of influences from that journey. Kicking off with 'City of Belem' which maintains typical ZEHN Records aesthetics of organic percussive offerings, journey filled atmospherics and alleviating melodies before delicate synth fluctuations, undulating low end and wonderful euphoric break downs take the focus in 'Tapana's Kitchen'.

Sasha’s imprint celebrates with 11 LNOE tracks picked and mixed by label stalwarts and newcomers.

Radio Slave, Frankey & Sandrino, Locked Groove, Deadbeat and Yotto step up for their label debut, while Nicole Moudaber, Fur Coat, John Monkman, Dubspeeka, BAILE, and VONDA7 return.

After almost 8 years as a platform for new and established artists as well as for Sasha’s own productions, Last Night On Earth is a global success. Label showcases sell out at lightning speed, including Miami and most recently ADE boat parties, which will live on in the memories of lucky attendees, and in January at Tulum.

Meanwhile, the Last Night On Earth podcast has accrued a loyal following who eagerly await each month’s new opportunity to experienceSasha’s handpicked live sets. LNOE 100 honors both the artists and the fans who have made the label an industry leader.

With each artist picking which to remix, the compilation is packed with inspired new collaborations. Even though the Berliner by choice has only been producing music for a bit more than two years, Ede has made quite an impression on the electronic music scene. With releases on Jennifer Cardini's label Correspondant, TAU and as part of Innervisions' Secret Weapons compilation, the artist has found top-notch output-platforms for his music. Having already new music in the pipe it's safe to say that we will hear quite a lot from this promising and uprising artist, whose music was and is inspired by famous Berlin night club Panoramabar, which strongly changed Ede's life and his artistical being. In an up close interview with Torture the Artist the DJ and producer gives some deep and interesting insights into his life as an artist, reveals details about his releationship with Âme, why his track on the Secret Weapons compilation is called 'Jenny' and what he has given up on in order to live his dream.
