We have selected 13 brand new songs - all produced exclusively for this concept - with exquisite care. This labour of love is the fresh start of a new decade of Eskimo Recordings, and at the same time reassuring once again what the label stands for: timeless quality and originality.

Next to this great release on Eskimo Recordings, Ichisan will release an EP on Prins Thomas's Internasjonal Records in the near future.

Despite being a small town in Norway surrounded by seven mountains, the Hall of Fame of Bergen is home to many world famous names including Edvard Grieg, Erlend Øye and Röyksopp. It’s also home to Made In Sane, an enigmatic duo with a passion for all things analogue and Eighties. They also have a knack for melody, as they display in their enchanting debut Flying Circuits.

Remixes come from Man Power and Mørkeby. Not much is known about Man Power. We know the mysterious whizz kid lives in Europe and he has a release coming up on John Talabot’s Hivern Discs... Second remix comes from Mørkeby, yet another Norwegian disco talent we can add to the Eskimo list next to Prins Thomas, Todd Terje and Lindstrøm..

One of the most expressive cuts of IN TECHNICOLOR gets a deserved club update with album collaborator ROOSEVELT's revamp of LES DILETTANTES. Originally a slightly no-wavey narrative sporting the idiosyncratic voicework of MIT's Edi Winarni, the track now pushes back its free-form properties for a heavily disco-infused work-out driven by exquisite hooks and a delibarately jam-like mentality. Edi's singing remains largely unchanged, but reveals unexpected glamour within the new context, making this an appropriately flashy addition to IN TECHNICOLOR REMIXE.

We kick it all off with a re-wiff from the magnificent Syd Dale... one of the greatest composers EVER.. We have always been big fans of Syd's and whilst crate digging for the KPM remixes we unearthed a few more belters that simply had to be re-wiffed. We hope we have done them justice. This particular gem was on Syd's own legendary Amphonic label. 

This track flips between 11/8 and 12/8.. so do be careful mixing it!!

We hope you thoroughly enjoy the album as much as we did making it.
