This long anticipated debut EP from Domino Effect Records head honcho's S. Jay & Ostertag has been months in the making and finally lands as DEFECT004. The EP introduces itself with a heavy original production 'Have You' focusing on the huge contrast of bass when it drops.. Beginning as they mean to go on, the following 3 productions feature a carefully selected choice of other Domino artists, including Filthy Rich, Kyle Watson & A. Lister.

'Smoking Mirrors' is another hard hitting garage lick with big reese basses and skanking rhythms, and these boys know how to provide just that, following that is a collaboration with South African bass pioneer Kyle Watson, 'Let Me Down' splits their 2 styles right down the middle as Kyle's touches become apparent as soon as the track hits full flow... The epic breakdown is ear-grabbing and full of energy.

Finally, the last track with A. Lister, provides a great way to close the EP off, 'No Question' is another housey production with trademark A. Lister drums and grooving percussive elements to keep the feet moving from start to finish. Since the release of the Collaborator EP, SJ&O have been working meticulously on their 2nd Domino release. Juggling this with the efforts on the Domino Effect tour for the labels first year anniversary has been an achievement in itself. Allow us to introduce the 'Foolish EP', full of spine-tingling, dancefloor devastating House tracks.

The originals delve into the ghetto-esque trend of G-House, engineered with attitude and class, they provide any club with a hard hitting bassline and solid groove, this time the sole remix comes from Domino Effects new kid on the block, Rare Candy, and once again he provides a sultry smooth organ lead over timeless percussion and rhythm. A follow up to Fabio Lendrum's 'Overtime EP' was always going to need that extra time and commitment and we're proud to say we think it delivers.

A good few months in the making and were finally happy to release the pack which includes remixes from MidnightMachiine, Dub.C & SecondSelf, MRJ, Cheap Picasso & Evasiv. This particular release offers the full package catering for House, Tech-House, Deep House and still finds the room to bring elements of the trademark Domino fire you've come to love! The two originals 'Hornets' & 'Payback' provoke serious movement on the floor, wonderfully arranged and polished perfectly.

MidnightMachiine were scouted in Africa after the international tour took the Domino team overseas to perform at the all mighty Gloom Festival in Maputo, Mozambique. Now the South African duo have hit the ground running with their infectious and devastating remix of Hornets, carrying similar elements of Kyle Watson we know this will do damage! Up next is the Dub. C & SecondSelf Rework, a full throttle festival workout, where the boys have created a pumping re-edit fit for any peaktime mayhem, third on the Hornets remix package is MRJ, after hearing his work with Golf Clap's Country Club Disco, we had to invite him in on the project and see what he had to offer, and if you enjoy the upbeat energy he is consistently crafting then this is one to check out.. Also on the remix are Cheap Picasso, the Edinburgh based duo have crafted an elegant new take on the energetic original, delving deeper into the mind with winding pads and eery yet beautiful effects. A journey in its own right, and very welcome indeed! Finally Evasiv, one of our homegrown Leeds talents, once again gives 'Hornets' a whole new perspective as his remix builds and builds in all the right places and provides an intense Tech-House big room makeover to finish..

The 2nd instalment on Domino Effect's 'Black Series' comes in the form of Architech's Locked On EP. Constructed to deliver epic dance floor devastation, this release unlocks the power to make people move.

The opening track 'Need In Me' begins the journey into a world of groove and hypnotic bass. Let your inner-self take control and close your eyes. Up next, the Rare Candy Rub, where a darker edge of the dance is unleashed, this utterly epic production winds into a bass frenzy, for those that enjoy the fruits that Domino has to offer this won't fail to please. Marcus Jakes finalises the remix package with his fresh approach to this bomb vocal. The deeper we delve into the Black Series, the more we discover that Domino Effect consistently delivers the goods. Release No. 17 is no different, and introduces a hot new partnership between Kactuz & Coeus, in the form of the aptly named 'Groove Department EP'. California born Kactuz, Label Manager at Funk'n Deep Records, and Coeus, a young artist originating from Serbia, step forward and join forces to bring some fresh House flavours, grooves that are too infectious to ignore, and the kind of basslines that have become synonymous with the Domino imprint. Full of movement once again, 'Hearts' & 'Never Gonna' are both essential tracks for the club.

Already gaining support on Radio 1Xtra, the boys have another EP due out on Low Steppa's imprint, Simma Red. Hailing from the hustling streets of South Africa, Dark Truth is the alias of Johannesburg based producer, Chad Blades. We have ventured out to the southern hemisphere on a number of occasions to release pure fire thats coming out of SA.

His 'Vice Versa EP' is our latest statement, and the first release to drop in our Domino Effect 'Aztech Series'. Always creating a distinctive, eclectic sound forged to entice and excite his fans, Dark Truth is consistently developing his sound and delivering music that pushes boundaries. His trademark chunky, twisted basslines are at the forefront of every production, whilst his percussive work rides you into a frenzy on the dance floor.

The A-side 'Vice' sweeps you through an immense build up with sounds reminiscent of early computer games before it smashes you with the bass, whilst the B-side 'Versa' takes a more haunting and eery angle, and provokes curiosity before taking you along for the bouncy ride.

Domino Effect delivers the first installation of the 'Colours' series. Introducing Nottingham based Kinky Movement to the camp with their debut D.E. release 'I Know' including a side-splitting remix from Animist.

The Original Mix brings massive groove and a real houzey sample reminiscent of the funky era during the turn of the millennium, a huge dance floor weapon. The B-side maintains the groove and turns up the bass with Animist delving into chunkier territories and offering an after-hours edit for those that like it late.

Domino Effect follows suit and delivers it's 2nd slammin' instalment of the Colours series. After previously remixing on Deep Matter's 'Hornets EP', MRJ, who hails from Wrocław, Poland is back once again with the 'Zoo Project EP'. Two tracks from different sides of the spectrum, a chunky and almost tribal slab of House is the first cut, aptly named 'Aborygen'. Bringing super tight drums and massive groove, we're all over it. The B-Side title track 'ZOO' picks the pace up and takes a different direction, where a huge lead synth dances around the drums, and shuffley hats and cowbells ride the epic bassline.

Kicking straight into it with 'Boom Bap', an epic original groove with great drums, a huge bassline and hypnotic vocal foolery. 'Jack Built' brings an edgy bounce into the equation, a dancefloor housey weapon with a great drop. Finally, the title track we leave until last, 'Misty' and it supplies the final touches to this fire release with dusty hats and claps, infectious breakdowns and a killer topline.
