Here is another beat for my "yet another lazy ipad couch production" series. This raw electric Hip-Hop Instrumental comes straight out of the iPad using the newest entry in my music production app collection: Korg Gadet. To keep it short, this app really is awesome! I love it. It's so much fun working with it. It'll absolutely increase the amount of "yet another lazy ipad couch production" contributions! :)

Created completely within the iPad <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/korg-gadget/id791077159?mt=8&amp;uo=4&amp;at=1l3v95I" target="itunes_store">KORG Gadget</a> App. Love that tool!

It was one of those Thursday evenings, some weeks ago. I was sitting in Lufthansa flight LH1995 on my way from Cologne to Munich, like mostly every week. The weather was great. I felt good. I felt relaxed. I turned on my iPad, opened the <a href="http://ift.tt/1f94xV0">KORG Gadget</a> App and started a new song. 

Since I was feeling so relaxed and cosy I started programming this trip-hop-like heartbeat drum loop. While searching through sounds, I came across this bass sound, which reminded me of Kraftwerks "Autobahn" - a perfect sound to represent traveling. That's how the creation of this track, which shall express a short relaxed flight with taxiing, takeoff and so on, began...

This track was completely produced above the clouds on 3 or 4 Lufthansa LH1995 flights only using my iPad and the <a href="http://ift.tt/1f94xV0">KORG Gadget</a> App.

Im Juni 2003 veranstaltete Spax (http://www.spax-hiphop.de) einen Remix-Contest zu seinem Track "Licht und Schatten" von dem 2003 erschienenem Album "Engel & Ratten". Ich schickte damals zwei Versionen ein (beide sind hier auf Soundcloud zu finden), da ich mich nicht entscheiden konnte welche mir jetzt mehr zusagte. Gewonnen habe ich leider nicht aber immerhin habe ich direkt von ihm recht gutes Feedback bekommen und durfte ein paar Beats einschicken.
