The Finale of my Sci-fi, experimental prog-opera Tiresias 2.0 

The year is 400,000 AD. The Earth is desolate and ravaged from climate change. A cyborg Tiresias is the last being left on Earth, projecting a repeating message to warn future civilizations away. 

A seedling is beginning to grow amongst the dust which revives the human part of Tiresias within the machine. Tiresias accesses humanities past to determine the prophecy of the plant, and is conflicted by our destructive nature. Tiresias is ready to destroy the seed, so that life cannot return to self-destruct itself once again, but begins to understand time as a mobius strip, and that events will repeat themselves, and each time, we as individuals - free will or not - still have the choice to make and action to take.

Rewild This World in an Image Of Hope

The year is 400,000 AD. Mankind has long since been eradicated from the Earth due to their persistent negligence of their environment. The last being on Earth is a cyborg variant of Tiresias, repeating a continuous message warning any future space farers away from the desolate planet. 

Amongst the dust of a long absent civilization, a seedling begins to grow. This awakens the human element from within the machine, after being dormant for millennia. Tiresias remembers the word "Green".

Tiresias has a prophetic vision of humanities doomed and chaotic past that led to their destruction.

The Vision

Tiresias begins to view time as a mobius strip and comes to the realisation that regardless of whether we are servants to cause and effect, or masters of our own free will, in the moment we still have the power to choose and change our destiny. Whether that's an illusion or not is irrelevant.

The Final Revelation

The opening of 'Resonances' a Sci-fi Epic. 

Art wasn't discovered by us or Neanderthals, the first example of art as we know it can be traced to Homo Erectus, and this is a story about the first one to possess the ability. 

Imagine falling through a portal, endlessly down, through time and space until you encounter planets, solar systems, galaxies, the universe, witnessing everything unify into the soul and sound of the Universe. 

The Fall

This piece is solely based around a musical conversation between tenor (madman) and alto flute (cuckoo). This conversation overgos various emotional interactions, there are elements of seduction, manipulation an and agression between the pare to name but a few of these interactions. I have much more to say about this piece but as this should only be a short description I shant digress. Enjoy

The Mountain of many moments appears in the concept album 'Resonances'. Imagine being teleported to a new world, surrounded by a blinding fog which then dissipates to show a mountain made of moments in time. All moments in human history flicker and shimmer like crystal while this goliath towers over you.

Prologue: The call of the cosmic sirens

The creature finds itself in a thick mist -impenetrable, inescapable. 

Little drops of rain start to pierce through the mist, but each raindrop contains a moment and a memory within it. The rain clears to reveal a mountain range made of moments in time!

Dead Earth takes influence from the imagery in Konstantin's play in The Seagull, playing on ideas of a play inside a play one might say! The text is from the play (in a play) itself and draws the atmosphere and colour of our planet far into the future devoid of all life: Something so alien yet a frightening reality in the face of climate change.
