The case of Don Drake and his subsequent disappearance was never solved, all that remained were a few stories and rumours. That is until mid 2011 when an old beaten down Ford Rambler was discovered in a ditch on the side of a dis-used service road in an undisclosed rural location. Reports suggest some personal items identified as belonging to Drake were retrieved from the site; Clothing, a wallet with 6 different currencies and a box of reel to reel tapes titled "The Oak Note Sessions". The Reels were sent to a studio in Berlin Germany for restoration in the hopes that some evidence would come to light... What continues to emerge from the sessions are the lost pieces of Drake's musical ramblings. Little by little the puzzle is being reconstructed for music listeners and the general public to take in these lost sounds.
