06 Precious Love

The viper is track 7 of The Willow Album and I wrote it during a very dark experience with a woman from my past. My music partner Tim Strain plays some of the instruments along with a better lead guitar then my original recording.

Somewhere in time is track 8 of The Willow Album and is a heavy sort of folk rock tune about my experience in a TRIP to Amsterdam. This was also done on an old 4 track recorder during the mid 80's.

Breathless is track 9 on The Willow Album and is a love ballad of an infatuation with a woman of days gone bye.

Cool black cat is track 10 of The Willow Album and is somewhat a departure from my acoustic/folk roots, but the song just sprang out one day at the piano.

Dark skies is track 11 of The Willow Album which I wrote a few decades back as a slow blues tune. My music partner Tim Strain and I updated added a bridge a few months back. I'm not really sure I prefer it to the original song I wrote. Maybe I should put up the original version. It was a very melancholy song.

Angel of mercy is track 12 of The Willow Album which I wrote and recorded in the mid 90's. It's a story of a lonely road tired business man who visits a gentleman's club and finds a little happiness. The guitar lead was played by a local studio musician my wife hired for me as a xmass gift.

Better Days is track 13 of The Willow Album and I wrote and recorded it during one of my dark days trying to be optimistic about the future.

Captain calling is track 14 of The Willow Album and looks at a man that hears a voice from within that he needs to look at changing his path through life.

Wakeup is track 16 and the final track of The Willow Album and my most recent effort. The message is life and how you view it and how thankful I am for each day.

The Willow Album is a collection of songs written and recorded over several decades ranging from a 4 track tape machine to a digital studio.
I was born in Baltimore, MD and started out playing folk music since I heard the first Dylan album.
Got heavy into rock during the 60/70's and was in a warm-up band fronting for bands like Chicago, Association, J Giles etc. when they played in the Maryland area. Make sure you start off with willow track 1 at the bottom of my page for my musical journey!
