He has an odd obsession with the sound of soft things landing just right on a flat surface. He dreams of one day locking eyes with a capybara in the wild, and craves for the outdoors but doesn't find comfort in camping. Working in gastronomy for years, and ever since worrying that serving one course too late will disrupt the entire dining experience, he regularly burns his mouth while quickly eating a hot meal, without letting it cool down. Life without Vietnamese food would be incomplete. He navigates life as both architect and cultural worker, and hosts the Domestic Mind Wandering show on Callshop Radio.

Hing's mix meanders through different frames of mind while changing pace. Things aren’t what they seem. The woods are alive, pulsing with secrets and danger. Every tune feels like an entry to another dimension, where reality blurs. You wonder what lays beyond the whispers of the trees, you replay cryptic dreams in your mind. The atmosphere is intoxicating.
„It is like a walk in the forest, while continuously taking the wrong turn every single time. Is it a deer in the far distance? The orientation slowly dissolves, but what does it matter - I have nothing else planned for today anyway...“

Garçon Gaston was born on the coast of the Ukranian-Azov sea and is now living at Berlin. His eclectic approach to setting up storytelling developed through time, combining listening and danceable elements.

He has been collecting and playing music for more than a decade. Mystic, dark and sometimes funny (meant with a wink), his record collection ranges from Slacid, Leftfield-Disco, Kraut, and Wave to Electro and Trance.

For the last five years, he is also running the underground event series "Obscure Obsession" in Berlin. Trying to connect music-lovers with hidden corners of the scene while showcasing his selection alongside some of the nastiest "cable cutters" of the underground. "Crooked Jack", "Wicked Wave", and "Dirty Disco" guaranteed!
