God desires to Bless His people however when they reject His House and the Labor of it, in exchange for their own, He can't and won't, so God sent Haggai the Prophet to comfort God's people to Consider their Ways! In actuality He was telling them, they needed to sent their heart upon His Word and Work and not their own, and likewise the same goes for today! However when they repented and put the Lord first, He told them, from this day, I will bless you.

1 Timothy 6:12 Paul encourages the young Timothy to Fight to Stay, because of the intensity of the battle that one faces in the work of the ministry, but not the ministry alone but as an avid follower of Christ, every child of God has been enlisted in the Army of the Lord and one thing that God desires of us is that remain where He has placed us, and many times due to circumstances of life it's a Fight to Stay! Be encouraged knowing your not alone, and there's Grace available today, to keep you Standing as a Good Soldier of the Lord!
