Underground, late morning deep disco sounds inspired by Bobby Viteritti playing at Trocadero Transfer in 1979-81.  Best enjoyed with just 100 people left on the dance floor between 5 and 7 on a Sunday morning (see photo).

Some of the tracks in this playlist are reworks by younger DJs who were fortunate enough to discover the tunes (and most of the updates are better with a few modern touches).  Tracks are not in set order because neither are good morning sets.

This is a mix-in and mix-out of the brilliant reel-to-reel edit that made Bobby famous in San Francisco (and the style of mixing that made him the legend that he is).  He hated playing the record but we all loved dancing to it.  This track and the version of Hills of Katmandu that I fade in on were his private edits of each song and were playing off open reel decks set on the floor underneath each turntable.
