BLACK FRIDAY

Hi Everyone! 

So I put together a 30 minute Ableton set which I played at a musical showcase called "Weird Sounds 2". This is a recording of the set from a camera (not the mixer). 

This set was an amalgamation of a bunch of different sounds that I curated into a set that is supposed to be a marriage of all of my different influences. You will hear samples from all kinds of different media including video games, stan Twitter videos, pop, dubstep and even hardcore. It's a true whirlwind of vibes, so it's a lot to process haha 

Either way I am extremely proud of this set. Even though the audio quality isn't the best, I do feel it adds to the rawness of what I put together.

MOVEMENTS I

I have only been working on these live sets since June 2022, but I have already created at least 10 of these projects (I think). This said, I've had a lot of material since Spring time and I've been itching to share it with all of you, so here you go!

This is an amalgamation of all the sounds and textures that have really captured my interest this past year. A lot of sample manipulation to create new and interest sounds, rhythms and the like. Pretty proud of this one, ngl. It's pretty stripped down in certain parts, but who doesn't like a nice little DJ tool, right?

DØN at FREEZER BURN II [Live Set]

This is the latest live PA set produced, arranged, mixed and mastered by DØN. Another addition to an ever expanding catalogue of live sets to their name, DØN has dived much deeper into their fancy for the dark and sexy, along with the light and humorous. With a little over 45 minutes of content, spread out amongst 16 different segments, DØN takes the listener on an eargasmicly eccentric sonic journey complete with samples from music, movies and even IG Reels. Of course, these samples are paired with a wide array of sounds and textures leaving many listeners mystified, as well as blissful. DØN shifts between a multitude of genres including house, baltimore club, techno, footwork and much much more, so be sure to keep up!

To celebrate my 2K milestone on IG, I'm putting out some edits! 

First edit is a ghettotech/footwork (or simply put "160") edit of Like That by Doja Cat. The second is a more, ballroomish/Bmore club-esque edit of Sweetest Pie by Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa (though it's really just Dua).  

To be upfront, I LOVE pop music, like A LOT. Outside of the weird dance music that I listen to, I do like to listen to music that "normal" people listen to. Of course, when my two interests collide, the result is some pretty interesting re-imagination of what I personally like about said pop music. 

Side note: These are some of the first edits I've ever started (and finished) so these actually mean a lot to me. Hope you enjoy <3
