ZIUL OIRAM was born from the creative mind of Brazilian music producer and multi-instrumentalist Luiz Mário, also known as Cuca. A lifelong musician, Luiz Mário has honed his talent across various artistic fields and is the founder of Om Shanti Records. With over a decade of experience as a DJ and music producer, his project has entered an exciting new phase. Its sound explores a more atmospheric and deep forest style, blending charged basslines with intricate digital leads.

SPELL CONJURERS, a duo project formed by Solarythm & Dewaka presents a special selection which represent their approach of music they like to call "Hypnotic Forest". They slowly unveil a hybrid universe where the oozing sounds of Forest meets the hypnotic subtleties of Techno, Tribe, Ambient and Bass. You will find in this set a meticulous choice of their old and new own tracks as well as music from other genres and artists they deeply respect, in whom they find similarities with their own aesthetics and feel. This set goes above genres and etiquettes and unites organic psychedelic music through an eclectic prism. Anthropos Logos - @ Human Evolution Festival 2016

As weird as it sounds - I was raised to the sound of the early 90's Ambient Techno scene. Although I was still being breastfed when "Little Fluffy Clouds" hit the charts, the analogue warmth, acid bleeps, gentle pulse and curious yet deep psychedelia of the golden years 1990 to 1994 always felt so strangely familiar.

So how and when did I fall in to this rabbit hole? 2002, 14 years old, buying any record I could get ahold of with "entrancing" music. Hearing more made me crave for more, which made me hear more that got me craving for more. Napster. Kazaa. DC++. Discogs... 
Contemporary trance music felt stiff, uninspired and cheesy, while that 90's Eye Q, Harthouse, Platipus, Superstition and all this Goatrance took me so deep. Especially those who dared to bring the tempo down. So hypnotizing. So challenging. So rewarding... Levitation music....

The last months I've sold off big parts of my record collection, and while digitizing the music I've sold I've re-discovered many of these diamonds. This is truly sacred music for me, music that has been with me for so many travels the last 10-15 years. So I invite you to sit down on your magic carpet and explore space from a time long forgotten.
