This piece describes Donny's imagination of a mother's position after her husband(his father) has passed away. It's a "pop" creation using old an school soundboard. The beginning is somewhat sweetly and perhaps is a bit saccharine but the chorus immediately transforms you to another space and dimension. This was done with a purpose. The instrumentation gives you a light cherry feeling at the beginning for quite a heavy subject. The vocals on this track are extremely Superior. Donny holds an encreable note to screech into I cry out for his baby. It is heartfelt and most are surprised by this vocal as he was able to reproduce it in shows without fail. Charles McCortter get instrumental credit after DWadeP’s ramblings once again. Taking great artistic liberties and license as it transforms from a mother’s story of grief to personal perspective of the author Donald Wade Posey. It is an autobiographical story as Donald Wade was his father’s care giver after a massive brainstem stroke. His mother still survives today 24 years after his father’s passing.

The song “Bleakness” I originally wrote then sang the melody first. Steven Wickes then added his masterful guitar. It was years later when Steven professed it was his favorite piece, saying, "It still held water."
     The song is about breaking into an abandoned home and finding things left behind from the family that lived there and seemingly left everything in a hurry and then finding evidence of squatters living in the house and being very scared.
