Eerie, suspenseful, scary full orchestral horror/thriller cue. Begins ominously, builds to a subtle peak, before giving way to an unnerving section with swirling and demonic piano. The intensity increases as the orchestra swells and crescendos frantically to an intense peak.

Jazz number composed for business consultancy site beruly.com's motivational track series. Was particularly fun creating the bass solo and drum 4s.

Based on my Life Sux Blues solo piano piece (www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAfSXImmY8c), inspired by a week I spent in California in 2007 at Jazz Camp West, and in particular by Benny Green's awesome piano playing.

Dramatic track featuring full orchestra and an operatic soprano voice. The music starts with dissonant strings and woodwind playing long notes, out of tempo. The mysterious atmosphere is then interrupted by brass and percussion playing loud and punchy stabs. The orchestra is joined by a screaming operatic female voice and builds to a climax at the end of the track.

Big Orchestral Diva

Full orchestral horror/thriller cue, beginning with eerily dissonant lower strings and woodwind. Mid and upper strings join the mix, eventually joined by wildly articulated woodwind. Brass enters as the cue swells and swirls to an explosive crescendo. Scary and suspenseful.

Eerie cinematic track featuring full orchestra (strings, woodwind, brass, and percussion). It features an off-kilter, lullaby-like melody on celesta, creating a sense of sinister playfulness.

There is an uneasy undercurrent, and sense of portent, throughout.

Old-style, British Pathé-esque newsreel theme in the histrionic style of the early 20th century. Upbeat, bright and eccentric piece for orchestra.

Newsreel 1

Epic and dramatic cinematic music in the minor key for full symphony orchestra. Full string, brass, woodwind and percussion sections. 130bpm.

The piece begins with a thumping brass and percussion ostinato figure, ominous and full of portent, building the tension to about halfway through when a triumphant and sweeping theme is stated on brass, later joined by sweeping violins.

The music reaches a dramatic climax, where the whole orchestra crescendos in a increasing cacophony of sound to a dramatic final staccato chord.

March to War

Positive, chilled-out track with a summery vibe. Features a string quartet, acoustic guitar, electric piano and triphop-style drums.
