Season 3 is upon us and daylight savings is beating my tail severely. In my head it's 11:00 PM CST so I still made it on this Sunday in my mind LOL.

This is part of a weekly beat crafting venture that takes the idea of my "Live From OffbeatJXN" series and takes it up a notch. Every Sunday (permitted if the shop is open, there is no other event happening there, and I don't have a family event to attend), I plan to craft at least two beats and carry out my full thought process for each beat no matter what. I will then post them in a quick mix the same day.

"Memories," "GotToSettleDown," and "Found" were all crafted today 3-11-19 at Offbeat Record Shop in Jackson, MS and mixed at Cloud Nine aka the crib. Buzzer beater mode. Yopp!!!

My first of three beats played at the Mississippi Museum of Art on 2/20/2020. I was a part of a producer set tasked with sampling artists born or steeped in Mississippi.

This beat incorporates portions of a live performance by The Five Blind Boys Of Mississippi, portions of a studio recording of Sam Cooke, and an intro of Sam being interviewed by Dick Clark .
