I was aiming for a dreamy feel-good type of R&B/Hip-Hop sound. The lyrics came to me while riding the train, meanwhile playing with a royalty-free music beats app named Splash. I liked the sounds, and eventually produced the instrumental track. I added multiple effects to the vocals using VocalSynth and Autotune. This song is apart of upcoming album "Misunderstood."

Song from my upcoming album "Misunderstood" .. Lyrical theme is based on feelings of uncertainty and worry of one's future goals and direction. We all have battles and personal demons to fight, this song is expressing one of those dark moments I went through.

I wrote this song during the pandemic while going through a mild-episode of depression. I was confused with where I wanted to go in life, and what were the chances of good things happening for my future. This led me to write several songs, and this song was one of them. Writing and recording is a way for me to express my honest emotions, and I wanted the sound to reflect my mood at that time. I used VocalSynth on the lead vocals, and Splash music creation app to make the beat. This was a supportive and honest experience writing and recording this song.

The lyrical story is about optimism and confidence, and being yourself with effortless swag. I wrote this song to uplift listeners struggling with their mental health. This is a trying time for many people around the world dealing with the aftermath of the pandemic, and moving on to the next chapter. I hope this song helps.
