After almost two years since his last full release, Ghost Mutt makes a long awaited return to Donky Pitch for the four track 'Rumble Pak' EP on November 18th. Further advancing his R&B leaning club productions with influences from dancefloor driven sounds from across the globe - the 'Rumble Pak EP retains the signature bass, funk and synth from previous releases and turns up the heat with extra jungle breaks, jersey club and grime for a tough set of dancing music.

Ghost Mutt first appeared on Dutch label Lowriders in 2010, he then released Platinum Skull and Thoroughbred as part of a split release with Slugabed to kick off the Donky Pitch label followed by the critically acclaimed 'Sweat Mode' EP in early 2012. Since then he has remixed both Lockah and ARP 101 x Elliott Yorke, receiving heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1 as well as playing Glade festival, holding down his residency at the Donky Pitch club night and going on a tour of Australia.

Out February 17th, the first Donky Pitch release of 2014 sees a return to the label for https://soundcloud.com/lockah. As a prelude to his forthcoming album, 'If Loving U is Wrong, I Don't Want to Be Wrong' contains two fresh tracks that touch on classic electro, miami bass and rave whilst retaining that melody driven pop sheen that Lockah calls his own. Alongside sit two versions, stripped back takes on their respective originals loaded with tough bass hits and breaks.

Lockah - If Loving U Is Wrong, I Don't Want To Be Wrong (12" Edit)

Announced via a stream on Pitchfork in January, 'Yahoo or the Highway' packs 13 tracks into it's 45 minute running time with Lockah's sense of synth driven melody and pop tendencies being weaved into a rich mix of influences, from italo disco to electro, rave to r&b all whilst remaining resoundingly original and unconventional.

'Yahoo or the Highway' follows on from two releases on Donky Pitch as well as EP's on Mad Decent/Jeffreees and Mishka. Lockah runs his own label Tuff Wax based in his hometown of Aberdeen, has remixed Danny Brown, Jaw Jam and LiL TExAS, delivered mixes for the likes of The Fader, featured in The Guardian as well as receiving regular support on BBC radio - including a mix for BBC Introducing.

Panasonic sees The Range further cement his position as one of electronic music’s most unique voices. After several EP’s across the last two years, The Range released his breakthrough album Nonfiction in October 2013 on Donky Pitch, receiving ‘Best New Music’ and a place in the Top 50 Albums of the year on Pitchfork. Starfoxxx - Bae HD (Mount Bank's Piano VIP)

 The first Donky Pitch release of 2015 is a debut on the label from Brighton based Mount Bank. Out 9th March 'Island Life' features five original tracks of classically influenced electronic music that calls on melancholic piano lines brushed up against bright synth melodies, intricate percussive movements and a restless energy that runs through each composition. Anenon (Non Projects) provides a driving remix featuring rising synths, bristling drums and saxophone.

Mount Bank is the solo project of Samuel Organ, focusing on his passion for experimental electronic music and modern classical. Outside of this he is a member of the Physics House Band (signed to Blood & Biscuits), playing shows across Europe with acts like Jaga Jazzist, Deerhoof and Alt J. As a classically trained percussionist he has performed in orchestras and jazz ensembles, as well as maintaining regular DJ slots alongside the likes of Bonobo, Machinedrum and Flume. He also has a degree in Professional Musicianship, achieved before his 18th birthday. 

Organ first appeared on Donky Pitch in late 2014 with a track on their 5th Birthday compilation, following releases on Finesse and his own label, KLDSCP. 'Island Life' will be followed by his debut album, slated for late 2015.

Tokyo Hands returns to the Donky Pitch label for a second EP of high pressure tropical rhythms & unique electronic explorations.  The ‘Underbrush’ EP further develops Tokyo Hands’ use of inventive drum programming, lush pop melodies and heavy sub bass into five tracks of wildly imaginative and colourful electronic music.
 
Tokyo Hands is a founder of TOMCREW, a label/collective of artists from all around the world, he released an EP on Locus Recordings in 2012 followed by his debut for Donky Pitch in late 2013. He has produced for Yung Lean, appeared alongside Lil B and performed across the US and Europe.

Tokyo Hands - Stupid Pop Music

'And Blue Brindle Too' marks a shift towards live instruments, providing a new dimension to Lockah's unique pop driven take on electronic music. Adding guitar (played by Samuel Organ aka https://soundcloud.com/mountbank) and drums (played by Lockah) to his trademark squirming synth melodies and funk filled basslines that once again touch on rave, electro and R&B, Lockah continues to push his own brand of inventive, fun and innovative music.

Next up for Donky Pitch is a debut for the label by Glasgow based Dressin Red, the Kibble Palace EP (out May 25th) consists of 7 tracks of melody driven instrumentals that lean on R&B, hip hop and ambient influences all brought together with a highly musical approach. Dancefloor jams sit alongside beatless tracks, filled with inventive percussion, rising synths and piano.
 
Dressin Red released his first EP earlier this year on Jon Phonics' Astral Black label, receiving support from Fact, Fader, Dazed and Gilles Peterson amongst others. He has played shows alongside DJ Milktray, Slimzee, Sega Bodega and Skepta.

The ‘Spectrum Riff’ EP comes from Moscow based beat maker and full time firefighter Alexander Goryachev, otherwise known as 813. Five original tracks bursting with juicy synth lines, retro drum machines and waves of thick sub bass, culminating in a sound that is one part boogie, one part hip hop, one part electro and three parts forward thinking bass music. Slugabed (Ninja Tune) appears on remix duty with a drum heavy workout full of shuffling percussion,deep basslines and strong melodies.

813 has been operating in the much talked about Russian beat scene for a couple of years, appearing on Error Broadcast’s ‘Fly Russia’ compilation and kicking off the RAD Collective label with the ‘Back in Space Jungle’ EP. He has another EP on RAD dropping this year along with other projects and collaborations in the pipeline. As a live act he has supported Moby, DOOM and Hudson Mohawke. On June 30th 2017 Donky Pitch return from a period in the wilderness to bring the four track debut EP from LA based producer https://soundcloud.com/chlorinemist. At it's heart, the ‘Reset’ EP is a melodically driven pop record, awash with dreamy synths and rich instrumentation. Underpinned by detailed percussion there are nods to hip hop, prog and classical - all brought together perfectly with an experimental and unique approach.
 
Chlorine Mist is Dylan Reznick. As one half of production duo Friendzone he was responsible for pioneering the cloud rap movement, producing for Main Attrakionz, Yung Lean and most notably A$AP Rocky on early hit single 'Fashion KIlla', as well as a steady stream of instrumentals leading to the critically acclaimed Friendzone long player 'DX'.  Cited as an influence by countless producers and highly respected amongst hip hop’s elite, Friendzone’s impact was brought further into focus earlier this year with the tragic and untimely passing of Dylan’s musical partner James Laurence.

Reznick says about the track ''I've been composing music since I was very young. I have had many collaborators over the years and will have many more in the future. FRIENDZONE was a very special project that will forever remain close to my heart. Such a balanced musical partnership is very rare. "Reset", as the title suggests, represents a new beginning. In my new project I aimed to break out of formula conventions of hip hop instrumentals and instead focus on allowing my music to take a purer, more unfiltered form. Unlike much of my work in recent years, these tracks were not made with a vocalist in mind. Instead, I followed the music as if it were the ocean's current, carrying me off to unknown continents.''

To launch our label we unleashed Slugabed's dancefloor deafener Donky Stomp. Alongside two tracks from another DP resident, Ghost Mutt, and a Mweslee remix, this debut EP oozes with synth-driven spirit, neck snapping beats and stripped-down sub bass.

Donky Stomp is packed with Sluga's trademark glistening synths, mutated 8 bit hip hop and kilos of bass. With releases on Ninja Tune, Planet Mu, Numbers, Ramp and MYOR his lurching hip hop has gained him fans all over the world, with support from the likes of Starkey, Eprom, Nasty Nasty and Illum Sphere.

The Range follows up last year’s 'disk' EP with a new release on Donky Pitch. 'Seneca', positions three original cuts of highly percussive rhythms laced with his trademark footwork trails, jungle breaks, sweet melodies and rumbling bass lines against three diverse remixes coming from some of the most interesting operators within electronic music in the US. Obey City (LuckyMe) switches up his usual style to deliver a slow jam full of plucked strings, Howse (Tri Angle) delivers a remix of fractured electronics where drums crackle against hazy melodies and Supreme Cuts toughen up the drums and bass hits for a unique and heady brew.

The Range has previously released on Astro Nautico, being a key member of the collective that are responsible for a huge number of great releases and a groundbreaking club night in Brooklyn. He released 'disk' on Donky Pitch last year, has remixed Kuhn on Civil Music and is working towards his full length album, expected later this year.
