Our first VA installment opens with label co-founder ADMINISTRATOR’s erratic and brooding synth composition, ‘VER5e+01’. LSS kicks it up a gear with the soothing sensory zapper ‘Perch’. The B-side flips to Texas-based Decoder with the delirious hypnotic stomper, ‘Giggling’, followed by Lindsey Herbert’s dancefloor weapon straight out of L.A., ’Control’.
Co-founder Connor Wall opens the C-side with the rich and unrelenting grooves of ‘Setback’. Emerging Naarm sensation, Neo, pushes the pedal down with the face-melting ‘Suppressed Actions’. All followed by Lask’s no-nonsense, dimension transporting acidic roller ‘Deepbush’. Flip the record and flip out to Arthur Robert's thrilling 'Kepler 452b', closed out by Sweden-based Franz Jager’s lush techno heater ‘Kantine’, a superior rush of rhythm with flourishes of funk.

Franz Jäger started off with Dubstep and Drum 'n' Bass, before leaning into techno in 2016. His music is inspired by Troy Geary, Seba, as well as jazz, soul and the sound of nature. He now focusses on his interpretation of minimalistic and organic techno, filled with soundscapes. 

Since 2018, his music has been released on multiple labels, such as HAYES Collective, SYXT, New Rhythmics, MALöR Records, Warok Music and more. 

This podcast, just like his releases, is filled with interesting sounds and atmospheres.

Stockholm-born DJ, producer and label member Joel Mull has spent over three decades shaping the global techno landscape, being recognised as a key figure in the pioneering wave of Swedish techno artists. Joel is renowned for his versatility, working under multiple aliases: Icarus, Gotzkowsky and most recently, Damm, where he channels his passion for ambient and electronica. As a member and contributor of the Swedish label Parabel, Joel continues to innovate the scene with his emotive and melodic productions. 

Joel’s productions evoke a sense of nostalgia, blending deep, downtempo rolling basslines with ethereal ambient textures and harmonic synths. This mix is driving, uptempo and seamlessly fuses rhythms with intricate synth melodies.
