We are pleased to present a new single by Ivan Latyshev and Dinaram - 100 Syllable Vajrasattva Mantra. 

Deep electronic music inspired by post-rock sound is not so common for mantras, but in this case, we have decided to take a chance as an experiment. The style of chanting the mantra and its form originates from Chogyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche who left behind a gigantic legacy of the Tibetan Buddhist Dzogchen school. 

Dinaram is a vocalist, sound practitioner, a true expert in mantras and sacred chants. She has devoted the last 10 years to exploring various singing cultures. 

We have noticed how surprisingly this mantra correlates with time: though it has 5:46 minutes in length, it seems to last not more than 2 minutes. That makes you want to listen to the song over and over again. 

We are happy to share such beauty with you.

In September 2021, we are going to release a compilation album that will include the best and deepest remixes made by various producers and musicians from all over the world.

Literally translated as the "First Power," the Adi Shakti mantra honors the feminine force of creation. Raio and sophie sôfrēē offer their beautiful interpretation of this mantra supported by Raio's deeply refined production and instrumentation. It is a journey across dusky landscapes, featuring native flute, kamel'ngoni, handpan, deep percussion, and a touch of african blues guitar. 

This mantra is used to tune us into the frequency of the Divine Mother, and to the primal, protective, generating energy of the universe. It is said that chanting it eliminates fears and increases confidence, personal power, security, and abundance. It is also sung on the 120th day after pregnancy, traditionally honored as the day the soul enters the body.

Raio and Sophie Sofree are delighted to release this track during the 6th month of their pregnancy, in the moon of their marriage. It's also their first release together celebrating their love of mantra and has been co-created out of love.

We welcome you through this gateway into the nurturing power of the Divine Feminine.

Raio & sophie sôfrēē - Adi Shakti

This is from the album "Breath into Being" to be released Feb. 2022 -- This track featuring the lead vocals of Jeannine Scarpino (yoga teacher/vocalist). This track was recorded after a yoga class where I accompanied Jeannine's practice musically. She is also an amazingly talented vocalist and we improvised this version of Lokah in a few takes.

This new album offering is based on many of the "live" online meditations that I offered in 2021 on the Insight Timer meditation app and Youtube.

The intention of the album is combine a cross section of musical art and meditative practice. Music and Sound, have a direct impact on our nervous system and can also be great teachers to bring us back home to a calm and centered place in the nervous system.

The rhythmic based tracks, can also be used as breath practices. For example, the listener, could inhale for a count of 4 and exhale for a count of 6. This type of practice can help begin to move our nervous system to a place of relaxation and calm. By slowing the breaths per minute, and extending the exhale the practitioner is also sending a signal to the nervous system to begin to relax and release. This is how I begin online (and live) meditation sessions and the music, gradually leads into less rhythmic meditative spaces with the singing bowls, flutes and chanting. 

Of course you can also simply enjoy the sounds!

Instruments on the album include Guitars, Charango, Native American and Bamboo Flutes, as well as Crystal and Himalayan Singing Bowls. Jeannine Scarpino is the guest vocalist on the opening track (a yoga teacher), who I was grateful to have met after a chance meeting and opportunity to accompany her yoga class. (She is also accompanying vocalist on tracks 6, and 9.)
