It was only a matter of time before Jack n Danny returned to release yet another EP with MFR Records, this time with one of their best releases to date: Get Them EP. Introducing their brand new EP with a banger of a first track; Get Them has a heavy Southern Trap influence soon to be infused with some House, the type you can expect to hear from London to Chicago. With the use of fast, pulsating and uplifting drum kicks and snares mixed with strong vocal samples, the East London duo know how to appeal to different crowds whether theres a basement party happening in Dalston or it’s getting heavy at a gay bar in New Jersey. Love You Girl provides an addictive set of plucked strings, bouncy hi hats and a super spaced out R&B sample that drifts you into the summertime. Flowing with mystery and seduction, there is an inescapable melange of movement, deep thinking and world darkening within this track. The rich but never overworked sound allows to take the listener on a musical excursion. Sounding as if it could be the soundtrack for a 90’s Gameboy, the UK House duo culminate their EP with Gone. With the track including the use of some pitched and mixed up vocals, low bass and chords floating in and out there will be no reason to why you won't be hooked on this last track from Jack N Danny’s Get Them EP. The first release of the year from Hot Trax comes from the German duo Raumakustik, with Jamie Jones on remix duty. Having had recent releases on a Grain Audio, Ipoly & Mangue Records, “Raider” is their debut on the Hot Creations subsidiary.

Raumakustik deliver a high energy and rhythmic track with ‘Raider’. The industrial tech-heavy sounds are perfectly mixed with catchy drums and a calling bell. Over on the B-side, Jamie Jones delivers a darker remix to drive music lovers to the dancefloor.

Sebastian and Volker are Raumakustik. They have been creating music together for a number of years and believe in creating tracks that will not only bring listeners to the dancefloor but also stay in their memory.

Jamie Jones launched Hot Trax in 2012 after wanting to create a label that moved away from the well-known and popular sounds of Hot Creations. It has been described as a label for the “headstrong” with previous releases coming from Patrick Topping and wAFF.

One of the most exciting up and coming artists of recent times, Detlef makes his debut on the mighty Hot Creations with his ‘Kinky Tail EP’ featuring three jacking bombs plotting a riot on the dance floor.

In a short space of time Detlef shot into the limelight with releases and remixes for well-respected labels including Knee Deep In Sound, Moon Harbour, and Defected. Equally at home behind the decks as he is in the studio, the unique party vibe that he brings to his live and DJ sets quickly earned his place as a regular VIVa Warriors resident.

Often billed on the same line-up with industry giants and with releases and remixes forthcoming on Edible Records, Hot Trax, Emerald City and Moon Harbour, Detlef is definitely one to keep an eye on.
