This song is about a sibling grieving over another sibling's death. It's a long grieving process that many can relate to since there is no user's manual and even if so, being that we are all individuals, I believe everyone grieves differently. None of us fit nice and tidy in a box. If there was a commonality, it would be words like grief, suffering a loss, anger, guilt, and so many more.
