We’re “Over the Moon” to welcome Gadi Mitrani to Do Not Sit with his melodic two-track EP. A fixture in his hometown of Turkey and with releases on the likes of Kompakt KX, Tale & Tone, Seven Villas and his own imprint Love And Above, Gadi has built a name for himself on the world stage, and it’s easy to see why with his new one for us.

The title track’s organic mood weaves in and out of dreamy synths and deep rhythm, while “Rise To The Moon” invokes beautiful undertones of culture and fancy.

Haft is the brilliant duo of Sam Nasehi and Amir Subb from Iran, where they are create their delicate and immaculate brand of music. 

“Origami” is an extended collection of six well-crafted compositions that weave timelessly through a variety of emotions. Each piece is a mix of grace and elegance, with supple rhythms and refined sounds with subtle influences from their home of Tehran.

Everything Counts is the latest duo we welcome, hailing from Italian Switzerland, with their EP, “it’s Time”. Consisting of 5 tracks, the team of Toshka and Chris Leon packed a multitude of rich sounds across this EP, including two driving, moody remixes of Kamancheh from Majnoon and Socko.

In addition to the title track, “It’s Time”, “Sueño” features the illustrious songwriter, composer and producer Milo Kairos, and elegant strings across an engulfing and paceful rhythm.

We’re thrilled to welcome back UK’s Dee Montero back to Do Not Sit with his EP, “Revolution”. Already a staple on the world stage, the former Mambo Ibiza resident first appeared on Do Not Sit with his ‘Chakra’ EP in 2019. With this new one, he delivers three brilliant tracks covering a range of emotions.

The title track is filled with uplifting energy, while “Our Future” is a collaboration with the duo Warung, and the deep and subdued “Tangerine” rounds out the EP in fine form.

Opening for many of the world's top DJ's such as Tale Of Us, Matthew Dekay and Steve Bug, Surreal Flight is a name to be remembered as the young proteges continue to evolve and grow.

Berlin based DJ Powel is next up on Behrouz’s Do Not Sit on the Furniture
label with five tracks of hugely atmospheric house.
Mixing signature rhythms with fine percussion and real musical and emotival
depth, Powel has become a key player in the globe scene. He’s a resident
with Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream around the world and Do Not Sit on the
Furniture in Miami. He also releases on Sol Selectas and is a real storyteller
as these tracks prove.
Opener Since We’ve Been is a dreamy bit of house with drifting pads passing
by like a warm breeze. Great vocal samples add real heart and ensure this
one radiants real heat. Who Put That Piano in the Jungle is a more tribal and
tropical bit of house with great drums and percussion sounding all steamy and
seductive. The groove runs deep with animal sounds adding to the exotic feel
and great piano lines bringing the melody.
Doorbell Symphony is a smooth deep house groove with subtle pads and
warm chords all fleshing out the rubbery drums. It’s classy and filled with real
emotions before A Record This Quiet picks things up with breezy house vibes.
Great chord stabs and more spring day ambience swirls around as spoken
word samples add feeling and keys drenched in echo are lovably louche and
loose. Last of all, Tuesday Blues sways to and fro with thoughtful pads
encouraging you to cut loose and allow yourself to day dream as you get lost
in the beautiful drums.
This is a tasteful EP of inventive and expressive house music filled with
worldly feelings.

The cultured Do Not Sit on the Furniture label is back with a third fantastic EP, this time from label
and party boss Behrouz in collaboration with highly rated Spanish artist Squire.
Currently in the midst of a first proper season residency in Ibiza, Do Not Sit is a party and label that takes you on a musical journey. Magical melodies and deep grooves characterise it and are drawn
from 20 plus years experience from Behrouz, who is based in Miami but plays all over the world.
Wonderland is first here and is a nine minute opus that will send shivers up your spine. It has lush keys and chords draped over soft, rippling drums and is a classy track for those who like real
emotion. Honey On My Lips is a more deep, intimate tune that is cosy and personal and will have the floor falling all over each other as it journeys into a starry night sky.
Painted Walls is the third and final track and another excellent one. It has celestial multi-layered guitar chords ringing out into expansive open spaces as the shuffling drums do subtle, supple dances below.
This is another spell binding EP from one of house music’s most essential new labels.

Argentinian artists based in Mexico, PAAX (tulum) have long been playing Do Not Sit on the Furniture parties and now they step up to the label arm with their own superbly moving new five tracker. It comes after previous EPs on the likes of Earthy Delights, and is so deep and moving it is perfectly aligned with this label. 

Opener Atacama is a blissful tune with smooth rolling drums and majestic keys up top that make you feel like you're laying back and gazing at the stars. Ojos Negros is lead by traditional instrumentals that bring real exoticism to the gently swaying groove. Lugar De Dioses is a beautiful deep house lullaby thanks to the serene lead synth line that encourages you to follow it into a a state of trance. 

Keeping up the quality levels, Distancias brings a more ethic and tribal vibe with tumbling percussion and strings, wavy beats and a warm and humid atmosphere. Last of all, Celaia is the most direct of the lot, with more propulsive grooves but still runs through with gorgeous melodies and keys that encourage you to daydream. 

This is another tender and emotional EP from the excellent Do Not Sit on the Furniture.

Another release, another incredible addition to the Do Not Sit On The Furniture family. Behrouz welcomes Eli Nissan to the fold with two breath-taking sonic adventures. 

A longstanding member of Guy J's Lost & Found collective, Eli takes off where his debut album 'The Last Poem' left us last summer. Deep, stripped-back, contemplative house music steeped in emotion that hits you when you least expect it.

The slinky 'Ararat' sets the scene. Stirred, not shaken; there's a lithe roll in the drums and treacle-like subs as weaves of percussion dance between the weeping chords. 

It's followed by 'Netanya South'. A shimmering haze of glockenspiels and marimbas, once again the Tel Aviv artists creates a sense of motion and energy. Unhurried, measured and glistening with a subdued, introspective soul. Finally 'Narkotik' sends us packing on the most hypnotic tip of the EP. Steadily growing in weight and emotional energy as the track develops into yet another sublime moment that hits you when you least expect it.

A deep magic lures and allures in ‘El Valle De Kadisha’… An ancient Lebanese valley, it’s one of the oldest natural heritage sites in the world. The Aramaeans translate Kadisha to sacred. The ancient Rumaki tribe harnessed a creative force there that they believe came from the cosmos.
