Project Alarm - Rendezvous At Midnight

I sampled pieces of Steamboat Willie and turned it into a crazy song!

The only thing not from Steamboat Willie was the drums, also I added some FX and EQ to certain stuff to make it sound rougher but yeah. Willies!

This one was just made for fun so I might make some changes and extend it on the album release, as a bonus track. Its a bit short.

Breakboat Willie (Steamboat Willie Remix)

This is kind of my tribute to the very addictive but short-lived "sambass" phase around the very early 2000s, but also a bit of the Japanese influenced side of things like some of what Cornelius did with Pizzicato 5. I have been loving that type of stuff going on RYM and going through the tags to find something interesting to me, because of how much I love these little microgenres. I have also been into bossa nova and samba for a long time so it flowed pretty easily. 

This may be the most "composed" sambass track ever made, next to some of the greats of course like Kaleidoscópio and Marcelinho da Lua. I wanted to respect that culture of music and not just mercilessly loop samples without changing things up or adding my own story to it.

EDIT: Grahhh don't listen to this version, it has really bad compression and EQ and ughhhh please listen to the new version. I think what I did wrong was the ADSR on the multiband compressor on this.

I don't know what the fuck this is but I worked too hard on this to not post it lmao. 

Count this as another remix like my Steamboat Willie track.

CARTOON RIDDIM (Cartoon Network Samplecore)

This one is another "nocturnal beat", but this time inspired by the old crime jazz/big band periods. I think that is important to capture with this project as well is that era because it was the type of thing used so often in cartoons a long time ago! I wanted to capture that scheme-y feeling.

An insane comedy album about a (fake) cartoon & game franchise from the mid 2000s about a group of spy-cats created through CIA experiments.

This will take you on a journey to space and back with mind-blowing breaks and extremely warm mixing style, incorporating modern tech with digital recreations of 60s and 70s gear. Tubes, tape and FET galore!

Mono is not supported and a DAC/Amp is recommended, but you don't need any thing fancy, this will still sound OK on everything. Also this isn't for kids, you must be this tall to ride this ride kiddo, now scram! Parental Advisory.

Thank you all for 300 followers, even though its been hard of a journey its been worth it.

The new EP will be a collection of fantasy music I am making...inspired by Tsukasa Saito (King's Field IV, Eternal Ring) and Kota Hoshino (Shadow Tower, Evergrace). Emulated analog gear, using heavy tape saturation and sampler bitcrushing ala 80s groups like SPK, Dead Can Dance, and many others. 

So think of it as video game music filtered through an industrial & darkwave lens. You will also see atmospheres, SFX etc. but that is for a project I am helping a dev with :)
