I became a big fan of sci fi radio when people started putting mp3s of the Old Time Radio broadcasts on the air, X-1 and Dimension X were some of my favorites. I made this cut up Drum and Bass piece around the intro to the OTR X-1 show. This track is heavily filtered with a Mother of All Modular's bank of High and Low pass filters. It was originally released in the late 90's on mp3.com where it was received well.

This one has lush pads and synths over big dubstep beats with some bleeps and bloops leading into big dark amen style drum and bass breakdown. This song reminds me of the good old days in the late 90s when I was a part-time junglist and the joy of Summertime outdoor activities during the day and then going to see friends spin drum and bass at Sand Bar, Decibel and elsewhere way into the night... in the Summertime.

Summertime

Soaring synths and pads over big dubstep breaks and fills with a metal chorus over rock breaks and a dark eerie bass breakdown. It jumps between styles and sounds somehow seamlessly, for me it is about adapting to change in a changing world.

Dubstep breaks with big huge mono synth leads over guitars. This song is about going places, seeing and experiencing new things and how much foreign travel rocks. Missing it with all this Covid quarantine business.

This song is about building the momentum to get out of a tough situation to build escape velocity to get to a better place. 4 on the floor bass kicks with swirling arpeggiated synths.

I've always liked Grimes music so I had to take a stab at a remix of the #GrimesArtKit stems for "You’ll Miss Me When I’m Not Around". I took a mid-tempo dubstep approach with dark synths, lots of bass and vocal filtering and dub delay with ring modulation.
