You had the opportunity to live in a more caring household. But due to them moving away from your hometown where your whole life is, now, in addition to already being heavily bullied in primary school, your option was to live in a family of neglect, incompetence, and a constant, slightly intense atmosphere.

You had to be aware of your surroundings, which nowadays manifests within you as hypervigilance. A good example of this is that you used to have this habit of gaming with headphones on but with only one cup on your ear so you could still hear what was going on in other rooms. And due to your father, now fully a single parent, often ending up in mostly verbal fights with your sibling, you always had to be the one to intervene, to settle the conflicts "for now". 

You often recall a certain incident when you had to call the police on your sibling for beating your father in order to escape the house for another week. In this household, you were forced to grow up too quickly which interrupted your time as a kid by the time you entered middle school.
