Furnishing this week’s suspension from reality comes the whimsical sounds and selections of Ronan (https://soundcloud.com/ronan-music). A mix steadily bursting with gentle breaks and pearlescent melodies, the Bogota-based artist helps to soundtrack a vibrant lucid dream. Spatially aware, the set comprises a colossal set of lungs - feeling at times vast and unobstructed. As it breathes out, it quickly morphs the expanse into something enclosed and tightly-woven, bringing the dance floor closer together. Confronting a roster of emotions, Ronan has braided a spiritual cure-all.

HOUSE OF MARICAS MANIFESTO / DONATIONS
From MARICAS we want to support our local and international community of artists, as well as create content for all our queer fam that is isolated in their homes. We know will get out of this together very soon. In the meantime, we have create this new digital platform called HOUSE OF MARICAS: the art of staying at home, where we will be doing live streamings, digital content, virtual exhibitions, challenges and interviews. Here we will be showcasing different queer / music / art content, created with a bunch of very talented artists / activists, for you to enjoy at home. The aim of this, apart of creating entertainment and learnings for our isolations, is to support local artists, that are losing their jobs due to this crisis. We created this platform to try to help our family of queer artists, that's why we kindly ask you, that if you enjoy our content and can afford it, to please make a donation to our paypal account. This donations will be divided entirely among all the artists involved.

El propósito de esta plataforma, además de crear entretenimiento y aprendizajes durante nuestro aislamiento, es apoyar a todes les artistes que están perdiendo sus trabajos debido a esta crisis, por este motivo, estaremos pidiendo donaciones a todes vosotres. Hemos creado esta plataforma para intentar ayudar a nuestra familia queer de artistas, por esto os pedimos que si disfrutan nuestro contenido, y se lo pueden permitir, que hagan una donación a nuestra cuenta de paypal. @kiialondon formerly @kiiabristol is, you guessed it, a bristolian gem now in london. we met in early 2019 when i was still recovering from my leg break - i played at cue, the super duper cute party she co-runs. i remember this was my first trip alone with no help to push my wheelchair etc and alice was soooooo sweet and caring, armed with a friend's wheelchair and a special chair for me to play on, and we drove from ldn to bristol chatting and laughing and i felt right at home. her opening set that night was really beautiful, personal, and with an edgy elegance to it that stuck with me. thankfully the worlks has brought us together a couple more times in parties, and it's always a joy to share a moment with this bb! this naivetape hits hard with polyrhythmic wonders and cheeky synths, tuff yet dreamy melodies and a whole lot of energy and ideas. k.i.i.a. is what the world needs!
