They slip through my fingers like fine dust. The Void lingers, a quiet witness to every fracture. I plead for peace, for recovery, for safety. Each note a whisper of what could have been, each melody a fragile plea to hold onto what's left before it ultimately shatters.

I got the inspiration for this song, because I heard stories of people who had near death experiences and saw their life and memories flash before them. This is caused by a release of DMT in the brain which produces an intense psychedelic experience. 
This song is about a girl who is dying and the last thought she thinks of is her lover, as she sees his face slowly fading away.
